Please don't compare a récord sold machine ,with the Beatles we are not stupid, abba is to european for all the audiences is too corny, is not for everyone diferent from the Beatles they compose all his songs betwen the 3 of them the 3 have Amazing succeseful solo albums, the 2 girls in abba couldn't writte a tune like them in his most wildest dreams, lets be honest, the lack of composition of the ladys is to big ,why anny of them became succeseful as a solo artist??? Says a lot, the Beatles as individuals are in other league, abba is just the name if you ask me if i remember the names of the memebers of abba i couldn't barely now their names ,the name is more llamative than them as individuals, with the Beatles is and was different, personally im not a fan ,abba was good marketing
Agnetha, Benny, Bjorn and Anni-frid. So easy for milions of people around the world. Then, you compared them with the most famous band of all time. But, sure, ABBA aren't so lowest on the ranking.😉
@@domenicosacco5845 i am not compared them the video says that, so i putting my Point in latín América they don't now their names, just the Group name, the ladies couldn't writte a tunne,so their carrers never succed
@@angelicaquirarte I never been in Latino America but, for what I know, they're very popular even there. Then, even most of The Beatles songs was written by 2 guys. Then again, Frida and Agnetha had some internatonal hit. You sholdn't be perforce a songwriter to be successful. See Laura Pausini, she didn't write so many songs....
Nobody is comparing the two groups and it pointless anyway. They covered different eras. It is also really best not to comment on something you clearly don't know about. All four ABBA members have written songs. Agnetha had a number of self-written songs that became hits in her native Sweden. She also produced some of her albums. Anni-Frid wrote songs on two of her solo albums. These two women had a say in the vocal arrangements on ABBA songs. You seem to be under the false impression that ABBA were a manufactured group. You'd be wrong. They formed organically. They were a Swedish version of a 'supergroup'. All four members were already successful musicians in Sweden with multiple number one songs there. Anni-Frid was operatically trained and joined her first band in 1958. ABBA wrote all their own songs and they produced them too. They also owned half of their own record label plus built their own cutting edge studio which was used by Led Zeppelin and Genesis. To top it off, they've always kept control of their own music catalogue. If you're not a fan of ABBA, then of course, you're less likely to know the individual names. But ABBA has millions of fans worldwide who do know them.
Outstanding and very informative documentary of the 2 of the greatest bands ever!! Thank you!👍🎶
