Such a good question and a hard one to answer as I enjoy all of them in some way. The Pantheon JM Bandito is great for pushing fast and decent for pumping. I would say the same about the Pantheon Pranayama and Zenit AB. In fact, any of the double drop decks are great for pushing and less great for pumping. So, I think it depends on whether you are looking for pure pumping performance vs. a mix of pumping and pushing. For pure pumping, nothing beats a topmount in my opinion and the longer Bossa is hard to beat in terms of flat-out enjoyment. It is livelier than stiffer topmounts as the bamboo construction flexes more. That said, there is an absurdity to the longer Classic Hamboard (big red deck) that I can’t quite describe. Everyone should try it out at least once. It has the momentum of a heavy truck once you get it going and it beckons one to relax and enjoy the ride.

Nice video, thank you. Both Bossas look super fast. Could you please tell which 5 are the fastest and could you please share the setups? Thank you.

Hard so say as to the fastest. I will go ahead and list the various boards in the description as that’s a good idea to share the set-ups. Any of the double drop decks are well suited to going fast. A lot depends on wheel size/momentum and how much pumping vs. pushing one plans to do. The Pantheon decks are great for speed as are the Bossas, but so are the Zenit and Bustin double drops. Any topmount deck will likely be more fun for pumping though. The longest topmount Bossa is really about perfect for pure pumping.

What a nice looking quiver! What's the giant red board called?

Impressive! I struggle to get pumping even of flat surface. Which one is the easiest to pump? I like Pantheon Wiggler you have at another video. And Bossa 42 looks great as well.

Pumping is all about practice. With enough practice it becomes second nature on most boards. There are certainly some that are easier to pump than others. A shorter wheelbase tends to be easier to accelerate and can pump up hills. Having more leverage over the front truck also helps (raised deck boards like the Bossa and Genesis are great pumper platforms). The Wiggler is certainly easy to pump but in my opinion is best suited to a combination of pushing and pumping. I push it to get up to speed (around 10 MPH) then pump to maintain speed. It isn’t so fun pumping from a near stop or trying to accelerate from slow speed. And the pumping action is not as creative or fun as getting in a rhythm on a dedicated raised deck. The bracket boards certainly have some advantages, but pure pumping performance is not it.

I have a Bossa LDP 42 and Slalocybins on the way! Could you tell me how you set yours up?

Sorry I was so slow to respond to this comment. Hope you got your setup dialed in. The Slalocybins make adjustments so much easier so it shouldn’t be too hard to find something that works for you
