Not Bro casually dropping Incredible info that art schools teaches within a few years.
these are literally the basics, however they are explained pretty well and dropped some helpful gems here and there, teaching yourself requires good amount of steps to consider if you want to compensate that for not going to a decent art school if you want to learn, be open and suck every knowledge as possible and search about specific things
Here before this comment blows up
Me: Boutta fail art school speedrun WR 100%
It’s very easy to understand the concept, but takes years of practice and feedback to truly utilise this knowledge. That’s where art school comes in, to give u the chance to explore and get feedback.
School you can get constant feedback and ask question
This is the wildest art video ever
Usually art channels make a video discussing abt one topic but this video condenses so much info in 6 mins wtf how 💀
I never knew some arts have that many complex ideas in their design. Thanks for the video!
Search geometric perspective renaissance
In 3:36 there is another way to create a sense of space even with a little of reference object through the use of colors, starting with a high contrast with an object at the foreground close to the viewer, the contrast will be lower as you move towards the background and also a bit bluer, here it creates atmospheric depth
One of the most brilliant videos of all time.
How did this just blow my mind? And why do you stroll in, drop bombs, and then casually leave without another word?
I'm gonna watch this everyday for a few weeks now...
A channel with important information which is also easily digestible?
Thanks, i'll have one
And this is how you explain art lol. Love seeing videos like this explain complex things people would have to spend thousands of dollars on
I wish I could learn art as fast and effective as you. Great vid as usual, your delivery is rivaled by not many people
this provides a lot of insight a lot of other art channels miss.
Thanks bro, these infos helps a lot
This is so helpful, thank you!
Your the best teacher. Thank you for the helpful info!
I like this video, which goes direct to the point with no useless filling for a longer video and actually teaching useful stuff. Good vid :)
Hey thank you for this video! I've been trying to learn on how to be an artist for a little more than 2 years but most of my composition and general shape isnt that good so this helps a lot! + Its pretty easy to understand!
As someone who's been doing art for a long time, I can say this is actually, objectively, the most important art advice
Going to try starting with shapes first on my next drawing
this is very ineteresting as i started to take art more seriously and really focusing on comprehending i was slowly grasping these concepts
its actually crazy to see them all listed rn
This is really interesting, I just started drawing last night . I’m going to keep watching your videos to help me get a grasp on how to do art. Thank you for your hard work!
I'll never see that kind of dedication for video and the way you make it is very easily understandable for beginners. So shout out to you 🎉🎉 and best of luck 👍 for your creator journey.
I know these are the basics but it took me so long to understand how important all of this was. I spend too much time focused on details, and I still have some bad habits from that time.
0:29 just what my brain started screaming like an emergency alarm
This is so much information stacked into one place. Thank you master. Excellent work
Actually concise and useful. Some people these days drag the watch time with boring and useless info with too much philosophy.
This one is to the point and full of knowledge.
This great video I would watch again in the future to remind myself of the concept. ty and have a nice day.
damn bro this is finally helping me to understand all of those principles like godddaammn that incredibke concise information no workaround easy explained no longer
Bro this is actually amazing...
This was incredibly informative, thank you!
FULL of useful information thank you! 🙏
This is mind blowing
this is weird but soooo informative! THNX
Wow thanks I appreciate it
It's nice to see slam dunk again after awhile, especially mitsui. I didn't expect to see my phone wallpaper in a youtube video haha
Spectacular, genuinely great information for any artist.
I agree😊
This is extremely good! Thank you!
Great video man, one problem, everywhere I look I just see the outline of shapes.
Video so good, my general perspective of reality shifted.
Thank you this is really helpful!! 🙏
Thanks, i wait for ur video❤
Very insightful✨
👍
Thank you very much for this video man, really helped me widen my mind through drawing, since i watch anime and things.Though i dont have much time to draw, i would still practice at my free times, thank you again❤
this is such a good video!
I have to use some of this when making manufacturing instructions so things don’t melt into each other or look incomprehensible
Just freaking awesome
❤❤❤
Amazing video, very precise information understandable for someone who has no idea about drawing. Though a slight critique would be the use of classical music as background - it takes the attention away from your words since it is so intricate. I would recommend using music that blends better with your words.
Thanks maye
I love the video but damn the so voice is rough to listen to if it’s possible consider VOs or smth it’d be neat
Awesome, can you differentiate between saturation and gray scale colors? so that the image appears balanced
Usually I draw what I feel right now (usually looks like some backsrooms level)
Or I draw something I want (is shit)
Or I draw something by occasion as an example (absolute beauty)
(my notes)
1- He’s basically saying, You should not solely focus on details. You should find a good spot between the real thing you’re trying to convey, and the simplified/abstract version of that, like how an anime simplifies many features but still has a detailed style
2- Your brain automatically finds flow. Piece together art using shapes and curves, simplifying complex information down to shapes. Anime does this too, with characters, and many anime’s have blocky shadows to simplify to the eye and de clutter.
3- I might be misunderstanding this one, but i believe he is simply saying that, when you have multiple things shown in your art, they should flow with eachother the same way we just explained. Avoid having them scattered around and have them connect with eachother in the way you need to convey.
4- This is all about conveying a 3D space on a 2D page. Overlapping shapes crates depth. Size conveys how far things can be. Lighting can do this too.
4- Visual flow is something that is used in cinema and photography too. It is angles, focus and the way things are shown.
5- Avoid repitition when arranging things together. ?? If i am being honest this part was explained a bit poorly and is hard to understand what he means
6- Shape hierarchy and information distribution. If you want to add more details to something you should distribute small, large and medium details. When small details or shapes are together the brain groups them into one shape naturally.
For your point 5. According to one google reference, "Rhythm in art is the visual or auditory pattern created by repeated shapes, elements, colors, sounds, and movements. It is used to create a sense of flow and connection within a work of art, as well as draw attention to certain areas of the composition."
In his point, he's saying to avoid repetition in repeated shapes/objects as it can create visually unappealing, boring or cluttered drawings. Rhythm ties closely with information distribution and flow. Repetition may break flow and disrupt distribution (of course, if you're more practiced, you can utilize repetition to your advantage).
A good example for rhythm would be a drawing of some crops in a field. In reality, these crops are all uniform and repetitive. If you tried drawing a 2d image of a bunch of uniformly-spaced crops, it can be visually boring and also confusing to the viewer's eye because there is a lack of focal point as everything is the same. But if you utilize good techniques, you can make a cropfield look interesting. Utilizing space and perspective, blurring out details, using varying sizes for the crops, etc. In this way, you can avoid repetition in a piece featuring repetitive objects.
The video is amazing 🤩 the info top nodge
But i have one question ❓
Is this your actual voice or read by ai?
Did you use an ai voice? Other than that, pretty solid advice
Nice!
are u using ai voice ? the voice is kinda strange
Bro made me subscribe
WITCH HAT ATELIER SPOTTED 👁👁
thanks man!
1:39 that one panel of bleach does look weird to me because it seems like it's mean to be read from the bottom up,but that's not hot the dialog bubbles are placed
2:11 pretty sure that tanjiros head is not in front of the side of the box that is on his back though
COUNTERPOINT: I DON'T THINK WHEN I DRAW
PROS: NEVER GET TOO GOOD TO HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THINKING
CONS: I'M SUCK
I learned breaking down shapes👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼. I never learned flow 😭😭😭
I think a low energy lofi music will fit this video a lot better than the classical piano music
I'm having hard time understanding these concepts, they don't look easy at all. All I understood was "simplify the shapes and learn composition"
0:18 ONE PIECE?
0:30 BROOOOOOOOOOOO 😂😂😂😂😂
is this ai generated
I was wondering the same thing
No
Only the voice is AI Generated, i think the person who owns this channel is from another country so they use text to speech to make it easier to understand for english speakers, or maybe they just don’t wanna use their voice lol
do you think it’s better to just have his true voice with an accent or to use these ai generated voices?
(honest question)
Gotta sub
Is this an AI voice?
Thanks
it's pretty interesting, in stable diffusion controlNet. There is a technique called semantic segmentation. In which the AI break down a picture and group pixels into distinct large semantic blocks. Almost mimicking the shape effect in this video. Pretty interesting that both human and AI arriving at the same technique for completely different reason. Perhaps having expert artists break down an art piece into its hierarchy art elements and use them as training data for stable diffusion can improve generative AI even further.
is that a frieren ref?
I think in shape
Subtitle??😢❤🇧🇷
subtitle
@@Jaquinhas Subtitle Okay ❤
I added subtitle.
@@TheFoudoPalace Thank you 🎉❤❤❤
I just stumbled into this INCREDIBLE video, gotta say it just taught me more than I thought I knew. Great work, keep at it!
Bro taught me better that Stanford
I see the logic but i am not there at all. Will be noobing some more and be back in a year.
Robot voice....
watching this video felt like i launched a game and immediatly starts at the last boss, like it's great but i don't realy understand anything xd
Bruh I didn't realize the first girl was Fern until Frieren showed up at 2:43
Frieren
4:18 am I crazy or did he say it backwards?
LoS above horizon = vanishing up
LoS below horizon = vanishing down
no?
2:43 frieren? xD
no room for prompt engineering😂
Instructions unclear, brain no working 😂😂😂
como que frio wn, me ando cagando de caloooor
ngl this sounds like AI
Is this an ai voice?
I can usually tell 100% of the time. The thing that's tripping me up is that, i feel that this kind of video wouldn't have an ai voice over. I'm so confused
It sound like the same voice used for the shorts so most likely
the video and the stuff you talk about is nice, i just get weirded out by the ai voice...
This is a fine video, but do none of y'all in the comments ever read books?? This info is easily found and accessible in approximately one hundred million different texts.
Seek out "The Joy of Drawing" to have your brains blown out in under 60 pages.
shiii
Am just trying to learn how to draw cause i want to draw thicc goth mommies
im lost
ai channel?
is that your real voice or ai generated, can't tell. Great video btw
People who saw Frieren
⬇️
The thumbnail irks me
I need this
ughhh.. my brainnn.....
Shouldn't i be paying for this information
none of you get what he is saying so he is going to sell you his products nad hook you into getting it.
probably a nice video, but the voice sounds AI generated!!! just voice it yourself or something i promise it'll be better no matter what
