  • Hey Everyone! I am finally back to making TH-cam video's after taking more than a year off!
In this video, I catch you guys up to where I have been and what I have been doing for the past year and a half as well as where the channel is headed. I also show a glimpse into a day in the life of owning and operating an ewaste recycling business in 2022!
For those of you who are new to my channel; my name is Aram Joseph and I am an aspiring entrepreneur. Emphasis on "aspiring" is not only intentional but necessary because it highlights the fact that I am moving towards my goals and ambitions, all while calling myself out on things I can improve on internally and externally.
As you guys heard from the video; I have been very fortunate to have had multiple blessing take place in my life this past year and a half. As such, all of these amazing blessings require their fair share of attention, priority and respect. Accordingly, I have once again looked inwards to see where I can improve in order to meet and be worthy of said blessings. In doing so, I found that I lost my way (in regards to routine) as a result of not being disciplined enough to prioritize certain business decisions. Making this first video in over a year is done so to convey the move towards being better and giving more attention to certain parts of my career that were on the back burner!
On a side note, if you have not had much exposure to the industry of ewaste recycling, here is some info for you!
The process of recycling old and/or unused electronics important is because electronic manufacturers harvest raw materials from the earth such as gold, silver, copper, aluminum and much more just to make said devices. For them to just sit in a drawer or closet once replaced is something that is unacceptable and should be addressed. If you are not using the device or if it is broken and you do not want to sell it online, the only other alternative should be to recycle it! That way, the materials used to make said device can be reused in new items in a multitude of industries instead of forcing us to harvest new materials, essentially depleting the earth! Please be responsible with your electronics and be part of a movement that will change the way the entire electronics industry functions!
I hope you enjoyed this video and gained some insight into the world of ewaste recycling and how important it is for our environment to keep these hazardous materials out of landfills!
If you enjoyed this video or found it interesting, it would mean a great deal to me if you would share this with your friends as well as subscribed to my channel. Help me get the word out so that more people act responsibly with their electronics that are unused!

Excellent channel, I have enjoyed several videos so far...spot on! As the owner of a nationwide e-waste recycler, I can appreciate with first hand the experience the issues you are sharing with your viewers. For instance, we also struggled with pick-up service as well, mainly due to increasing costs in both labor and fuel. Driving 50 miles round trip for a pickup, pay a guy 4 hours wage, $40 in gas, wear and tear on box truck only to in the end grab a half dozen printers, some flat screen monitors and 4 Windows XP era machines has forced us to charge for pickups. $100 minimum, $2 per mile after the first 10 miles. As you mentioned on your phone call, there is always the free drop off option. We have a 24/7 dock for free electronics drop offs (no tube tvs!). When I come into work in the mornings there are often several computers, stereos and other odds and ends that will either be kept (for my growing personal collection), refurbished or recycled.

I worked in one here in Brazil just like yours but it had 11 employees, and the actual team that do that job was like 5 people.
One problem is the pickup service because the employees here had to work in 2 different jobs, the pickups and the scraping so it was really hard to conciliate that.
And i started to go to college (here you work and study, it's very common), so i could not go to pick ups so i decided to leave because the others were looking to me as a privileged boy who could not do the hard work lol

I can't imagine how hard it must be to do the pickups in your country, because here we only worked in one state, and sometimes i would leave the company at 08:00 am and comeback 21:00 lol i hated that part of the job.
But i was really talented and like it scraping, specially computers where i could dissamble like 120 in 9 hours of work or so.
So sad they could not let me not go to pickups...

As a kind of hobby I look for electronics in dumpsters and curbside stuff. Bummer is, where I live, tne property taxes went up, and so did the insurance. So I can't spend the extra $$ for parts to fix some things to try and resell them.

I am glad that you enjoy them, thank you!
I use a program called Acronis to erase them. I will probably incorporate this topic in one of my next videos because I specifically built a server with hotswap bays for this task.
