Why don't folks like the mid mount?

It works perfectly fine, but it tends to be a bit more tractor than what can easily be maneuvered around things when mowing.

I have this tractor with the mid-mount and I also bought a 5 ft shredder. Only used my mid-mount once but use the shredder regularly.

@@noltspowerequipment mid mounts are great if you have a lot of grass that’s wide open no trees.
