chiranjeev kapoor I think people wanted it as a “status” it shows people you have an iPhone 12. There are people who only care about impressing people. Thanks for the comment!
iPhones nowadays are very durable - to the point where you could use without a case at all, that is of course if you aren’t doing anything crazy at 400 feet in the sky. A regular drop from the chest down won’t do anything to your phone, in fact if your phone cracks from that consider you may just have a dark cloud over your head. Cases at this point are just for cosmetic reasons. Only thing I would recommend is a screen protector still, to avoid mini and minor scratches you have no clue about.
Is it a hard plastic around the edges of the case? The hard plastic ALWAYS scratches my phone when I snap it on.. so I prefer a softer material around the edges.
I got the same case at launch and the bottom corners crack just by putting the phone in it. I can see yours started to crack. I’m returning mine. I already purchased a leather case.

Changed it to a silicone case now. Durability is very poor for 55 Euros...
It’s the same for me! In similar cases, less expensive, they are separate buttons to make them easier to press! And I think that everyone face the same problem! The bottom crackls after a couple of days!!
Are the sides kind of hard too? Like Speck? And I thought the Magsafe ring was pretty ugly at first, but the ring has grown on me overtime after seeing it a lot everywhere 😆
