The first season of Hajime no Ippo has - hans down - the best OST I've ever heard in an anime.
It is varied,
it is emotional,
it is beautifully written,
it builds tension and breaks it when neccessary,
it does what it wants to do and so much more.
It breaks conventions and is very non-mainstream...
I'm seriously baffled by the crazy good OST of this Anime, considering its release date.

Hajime No Ippo is hands down the greatest anime I've watched over and over.. you connect with the whole gym and feel as if you're part of it all. This anime will have you emotionally attached to everything.. you laugh, you cheer, and you cry for joy with so much pride after each fight.
Above Beyond Many peopel sadly underastimate the show because of the art style and weird looking characters but that's what makes it so appealing! This seriea got me hooked up so many times over and over again that I just cant stop loving it.
if you're reading the manga, you'll cry even more now.

Hajime no ippo taught me so much because he reminds me of what I use to be in school, you could say he is my ideal model that I never had. He teaches us all that hard work pays off and that we should never give up, that determination makes us want to be just like him

Hajime no ippo is by far one of the best animes I've ever watched. I've watched all the top tier animes but this anime is an absolute gem. The realism makes it so much more authentic. The comedy is actually jokes and then you got songs like this.

Just finished the series, from season 1 all the way to season 3, and I've had this theme stuck in my head all day. Ngl when I finished up the last season and let those credits play I was getting pretty emotional, like actual tears were building up, cause Idk when will be the next time I watch an anime that made me as hype and invested as this show did. An absolute classic that I would recommend to anyone, anime fan or not, boxing fan or not. I wasn't even a big fan of either and I LOVED this show
Where did you watch the other seasons?
@mariogk90 i watched season 2 on youtube in a playlist i found and season 3 on crunchyroll. from what i could remember season 2 is the hardest to find from this show since i don't think it's available on any other streaming services. maybe on a website or something but that's kinda it. shouldn't be too hard to find season 3 if it's still on crunchyroll. also the entire first season just recently got added to netflix in the US, small reminder if that helps. best of luck 😊
