Hi Atty.! You mentioned, "Every person criminally liable for an act or omission is also civilly liable." How about for crimes which cause no material damage such as violation of traffic regulations, contemp etc... Is there a civil liability to be enforced in such?
Hi, article 100 of the revised penal code which provides that every person criminally liable is also civilly liable applies to felonies covered by the revised penal code only, and not to special laws which cover the offenses you have mentioned, as stated in article 10 of the RPC, which provides that "Offenses which are or in the future may be punishable under special laws are not subject to the provisions of this Code." It will be the special laws which create the offense that will provide the corresponding civil liability, if any. Thank you

Because they have different rules and effects. For example, an obligation to answer for restitution/reparation/indemnification arising from a criminal offense has different rules from civil liability for damages arising from a contract.
Tip: tingnan nyo po yung title kung saan yang articles tas hanapin nyo po ang akmang episode sa playlist. Mukhang interpretation of contracts yan. So baka sa episode na yun. Medyo solid spoonfeeding yung request nyo po ha 😅
