This is how we would like Xavier to be booked; however I do not think Vince will ever let that happen. Personally though my gut tells me that Cody will be the one to win the title.
I guess Woods winning the title makes sense, I mean if all three members of shield could win the world championship why not all three members of new day as well.
@Zike mazowski They are one of the most dominant tag teams in WWE history. They have amassed 11 tag team championships. Just because they are overly positive doesn’t mean they can’t be the top guys.
Here's what I would have done (feel free to disagree): Roman Reigns successfully defends his championship at Summerslam in a triple threat match with Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley after the Uso's interfere and Roman makes Bobby pass out to the Guillotine. The Bloodline attacks both Drew and Bobby after the match and then The Rock's music hits to get a big pop from the crowd. The Rock stares at Roman but then shakes his hand, Roman gives The Rock one of the championship belts to hit Bobby Lashley with but when it looks like the Rock would help the Bloodline he hits Roman with the belt and then sends both the Uso's outside the ring. The Rock then hits the Uso's with a double Rock Bottom through the announce table. The Rock goes back inside the ring where Reigns has recovered, he tries to hit a Superman Punch but The Rock ducks and then plants Roman with a Spinebuster and the The People's Elbow. The Rock lies both belts beside Reigns and as The Rock leaves Cody Rhodes (who would win Money in the Banks) music hits and Cody runs to the ring with a referee. Cody Rhodes stands in the ring looking at both belts wondering which one he would cash in on and the decides to cash in for the Universal Championship. The bell rings and Cody hits Roman with a Cross Rhodes and goes for the cover but as the ref count Jey Uso pulls the ref out of the ring and knocks him out. Cody reached through the ropes to grab a hold of Jey but Jimmy hits Cody with one of the tag title belts and the Roman Reigns hits a spear on Cody Rhodes. Roman goes for the cover but there is no referee, another referee comes running down to the ring gets in and counts 1, 2........ but Cody kicks out. Reigns is livid and then knocks out the new referee. Reigns looks set to spear Cody through a table in the corner that was set up from the previous match but Reigns misses the spear and goes through the table himself. The Uso's climb on the apron to yell at Cody but then both Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley pull the Uso's off the apron. Drew hits Jimmy with a Claymore and Bobby spears Jey through the barricade. Both Drew and Bobby bang down on the ring apron to get the crowd to clap along and Cody hits Roman with another Cross Rhodes. Cody goes for the cover and the first referee slowly crawls back into the ring and counts 1.......2.......3. Cody Rhodes wins the Universal Championship and the next night on Raw he changes the design to make it look like the winged eagle belt (which is what they should have made it look like in 2016 when the belt was first unveiled). Roman remains the WWE Champion but refuses to show up at Clash at the Castle because he feels disrespected. The Uso's defend their tag titles against Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley at Clash at the Castle where Drew and Bobby win the titles and Bobby Lashley becomes a Grand Slam Champion. Roman faces Cody Rhodes at Survivor Series in a Champion vs Champion match and gets his revenge on Cody and then he costs The Rock the Royal Rumble match and then challenges The Rock to a match at Wrestlemania where he defeats The Rock to end his career. Hope you liked this. If not that's ok you're all free to disagree.
That is a great story and one that could very well get me back to watching RAW or Smackdown again. As for a story, I would want to know how you would have booked The Kabuki Warriors. From their creation to Kairi's farewell. They are the longest reigning and most prestigious Womens tag team champions but they didn't really do too much other than the TLC match
My first MyGM mode run in 2k22 I had Roman as my top champ, I needed a Fighter at the draft with a good balance of Stamina and Popularity. Enter Xavier, he managed to win the rivalry in a 5 star match. Needless to say when Adam said his name in the booking video I popped hard
Wow, this is actually fresh in my opinion and by far the most original and I must say is actually the best way to book every single other people that would have been in line to defeat Roman, basically give Woods the Adam Page treatment of making a megastar by beating almost everyone in line culminating in two feuds: WALTER and Cody Rhodes
I'd also consider Sami Zayn as a credible opponent when he turns face. Plus he already has a story going on with the Bloodline so they can slowly build them turning on Zayn or something.
@@WrestlingIsReal649 Probably yes, but i am not sure if making another odd-pairing for the tag titles would work considering there are a dozen legit tag teams in the line already. Also idk if the Usos would lose the tag gold so soon
I think it makes sense. They’ll be looking for guys that they already trust to work more than as just in ring competitors that haven’t already been super pushed - no one wants to see same old same old after a two year reign. Woods and Zayn both fit the bill, neither of them would burn the company with bad media stuff, which is super important in a champ, in fact they’ve both shown they’re great at it. Both are great at working a crowd and could legit get over as a baby face any time the company straps the rocket on them. Both are reliable, safe, very good ring workers (which is all it needs to be - Zayn obviously has more in the tank which we haven’t seen so much on the main roster, but is that age or product related?). In terms of look, Woods has bulked out a lot in the good way in recent years, Vince will like that. Zayn is on the smaller side, but as a baby face that can be a good thing. So yeah, these two if they want something new. Too soon for Bron and Riddle is a bit of a loose cannon with the media (which is a huge problem for WWE).
This is the best fantasy booking you've ever done. If only WWE gave this much care and support to Woods and the New Day when it came to the World titles.
I hate coming back to reality after being emotionally involved in a story for the past 15 minutes. Great stuff Adam. and damn you wwe for I know you won't do better than this
Oooh! Thanks Adam! Can't wait to watch this. By the way, are you planning on doing a third "Best AEW Matches of the Last Year" like you did for the last two Double or Nothings?
So beautiful and great idea listing all these classical Chad characters at the beginning and ultimately choosing the underdog with the great backstory. Very well done, I hope you love your work, Adam, because you're so great at it ❤️
this is honestly such a beautiful idea, the storytelling is perfect the only thing that sucks about such genius booking is that WWE would never do it which honestly makes me sad as hell cuz that’d be such a beautiful story to tell
I know I'm like a month late but I noticed that Adam going "Who, who, who" when asking who it should be is a little foreshadowing to it being a New Day member. At least I think it was intentional, if not that's a funny coincidence.
I can't believe how emotional I got during this fantasy booking. I'm not sure if it was because of Xavier finally winning the big one, or that amazing operatic assemble at the beginning. It's a toss up.
Who's here after Cody FINALLY won the title? I feel like him dropping it at Mania was always the right choice, i just think that they waited a year too long. Either that, or they should've done more with Cody in that year from WM39 to WM40. Like the Brock thing was good, but they should have had him have another rivalry of the year contender. He had so many small feuds that it almost seemed like uncertainty about Cody the whole year.
I'd love to see something bigger like "how Adam would save WWE" Instead of just booking one storyline, what changes would you make to the entire promotion to try and regain the fans who have fallen out with the company
@@kingofsting19 they're constantly making nonsensical decisions. More and more wrestlers are asking to leave the company. People are literally walking away from the company. And more and more fans are genuinely wanting nothing to do with the company anymore. Those aren't my opinions, because I still enjoy WWE sometimes, those are facts. Just because YOU are a fan of stupid decisions, doesn't mean everyone else is. It's becoming frustrating to watch the company
@@kingofsting19 i would say it is the majority's tbh. WWE tv has lost a TON of viewership in the last 5 years or so. Raw's weekly fanbase has been cut pretty well in half in that time. The product is just objectively not great and it shows
When Adam said Xavier Woods, I didn’t say no because I was honestly not expecting him to be picked. Had my attention immediately. Whoever beats Roman needs to NOT be an established main eventer. This is a star making feat. It NEEDs to be someone stuck in the midcard or unknown.
U made it work. It's all about THE STORY, not the man (or SIZE of the man, or "stardom" of the man, as Vince seemingly now ONLY believes), when building a great, successful feud & main event.... Might I add one thing, because one important part is obv too predictable... We pick up at: "if ya smelllll....!" Rock comes out the curtain but doesn't come down the aisle. He doesn't look at the fans, the crowd, he doesn't take in the adulation, his eyes are FIXATED on Roman, who is staring back, cocky smirk on his face. After only a handful of seconds, The Rock goes BACK behind the curtain, and 10 seconds later, we see the Uso's, kinda stumbling as if being pushed back out... followed by the Rock, who is yelling at them pushing them, pointing to the ring, all in the manner of "GET BACK OUT THERE, GET YOUR ASSES BACK out there..." We even have great camera work locked onto Rocky's face, and we can read his lips, "FOLLOW your Tribal Chief!" The 3 of them walk down there, Usos begrudgingly climb onto the apron, where the Rock then jumps up onto between them. As the tag team goes to get in, The Rock angrily stops them, looking at them like he's insulted, like HOW DARE YOU GET IN THIS RING BEFORE ME. KNOW YOUR ROLE... Rock smiles at Roman, Roman smiles back, Rock gets in the ring and disgustingly looks back at the Uso's again, as if "boy you guys ARE stupid," and back at Roman like "how do you deal with these ruuuuudy poo's???" ... THEN we go right back into your booking, and the Rock grabs the Usos with him on the way back, after the hug into the Rock Bottom. As the 3 leave, Rock is gesturing "leave that dirt bag counting lights where he belongs, let's go fellas" I'd just like to see a little more intrigue, a little more "will he/won't he?" from something like this.... theme song, big entrance, mini stare down, smile, hug, instant "turn" has been done to death.... Let's see the Rock, quite frankly, ACT, as if even HE knows family, TRIBE comes 1st. You may not like it, but do as your High Chief tells you--- which of course is a true, and they do, just not to Roman, because (and i can picture the Rock saying this super fast in his promo style) "Roman was not is not will NEVER BE..... Tribal..... Chief..... and he damn sure absO-DAMN-lutely never BE.... THE PEOPLE'S.... champion...." huge pop, way too long pause, 3 different dumb chants by the dumb WWE crowd, because they're dumb idiots and babyface THE ROCK sucks..... BUT I get why he has to be a face for this feud/"dream match" at Wrestlemania.
I think Jey Uso would make for an incredible successor to Reigns. The story is super interesting and Jey’s a great worker both in the ring and on the mic. I love Xavier, but we all know exactly how a Xavier Woods title reign would go in WWE. It’s probably just going to be Cody.
Honestly the only part of this booking I disagree with is having Xavier Woods solo the entire Bloodline. I say have him eliminate the Usos and maybe come close to eliminating Roman but Roman ultimately wins but considering Woods just pinned the two others on his own and he’d look great losing it wouldn’t ruin any kind of push. Kinda like Kofi losing the chamber before his win at Mania. Pinning all 3 solo even if it was from roll ups would be too much I’ve been feeling like Woods deserves the world title and my god this would be sweet.
This takes away the psychological part of the story that Roman can't seem to beat Woods though. Plus the roll up is a special call out to his fans that follow him and UpUpDownDown ha
I still want to see how WWE should of booked Daniel Bryan’s return. (Cause first they delayed the fued with Miz with a fued with Big Cass then when they got to the Miz feud they watered it down with The wives. It took his heel turn to give him a good story which Ioved and his first good feud with Kofi. Adam already booked the start of the return and his place vs Kofi. Now he just needs to fill in the middle
Speaking of which, I’d like to see a How WWE should’ve booked either Aleister/Malakai Black or Judgement Day (Edge, Rhea, Priest and a mystery partner that Adam can book).
I agree, a video regarding Malakai Black in AEW, or WWE when he was Aleister would be amazing. But also I would love to hear the Judgement Day booking, with Edge winning the Money in the Bank and turning the briefcase into the Necromicon aesthetic and raising the 4 star group into a next level heel team akin to Evolution would be the best.

@@CheezusChrist1776 Same here. Tapped the video on mobile and it was the one comment that YT decided to show 🤣 I am interested to find out why Adam made that choice though.
I would rather have Woods take the belt of Brock Lesnar considering he squashed both Big E and Kofi for their WWE championships
@@CheezusChrist1776 so you're just as predictable as WWE is now a days?
There are like 10 Better choices in my opinion. Ciampa, Riddle, Walter, Balor are just the first coming to mind.
I think it's about damn time Vince subscribed to PFK and starts listening for advice
We already got woods beating brawling brutes and Drew day lol
Y’know, Xavier wasn’t my first choice, but you make a compelling argument as to why he should be the one to beat Roman. It sucks that whatever they end up deciding to do will inevitably pale in comparison, because they can’t commit to long-term story-telling.
Cody will win the belt and there are literally long term booking it…. Lmao
That's how finishing one of these videos usually feels lol
Xavier Woods winning the belt would make the title and Roman Reigns non relevant
@@TactShooter not if you give him a push that lasts a good year, you have to make him legit
@@Josh-dy4lq He isn't, he's a C- player. Not talented enough.
I love this so much and am so saddened that we will probably never get anything close to this in real life despite the fact that the man deserves this so much. Thank you for this wonderful tale.
Absolutely f’n genius. This is a brilliant idea Adam. When you were going through the options and had one left I thought you’d go with woods as there’s been a few seeds planted for a Roman/woods match. How you booked it was literally inch perfect. The humour elements in this vid were top notch too. Cracking stuff.
This tied so many stories together so perfectly. this might be one of my favourite fantasy bookings so far
Loved this booking! Based on recent storylines, it looks like they might be long term booking for Riddle, but I would love for this to happen. So many call backs and nuances. This is peak story telling
As soon as I heard you say Xavier Woods, I was like I didn't know I needed this in my life, but I need this in my life.
100% behind Woods as champion. Guy can kind of do it all. Good wrestler, great on the mic, hosts UUDD so we don’t need to worry if he can be the face of a product or anything. He’s so underrated and I want this so bad now
I liked this video immediately when he said his actual pick. I haven’t even finished the video but this is the best booking I’ve ever seen 💯.
that musical intro was funny😂😂😂 it had me laughing and dancing at the same time. God bless you Adam.
That Dodgeball take is just true and ppl need to accept it.
That opening was phenomenal, I loved it. A solid 10/10.
Every time one of these videos comes out it’s like Christmas to me and my brother. We always buy our favorite food to eat while watching it and it’s definitely my favorite TH-cam series ever. The return of booking videos was a big help for me to keep my mind off of the Pandemic. Keep up the great work Adam. P.S I’m dying for you to re book an angle from WCPW with hindsight. Been three years and I’m still waiting for How Adam Would’ve Booked The Prestige lol
This is how we would like Xavier to be booked; however I do not think Vince will ever let that happen. Personally though my gut tells me that Cody will be the one to win the title.
I didn't know I wanted a bardic recitation of wrestling storylines until this video. More please :-)
I guess Woods winning the title makes sense, I mean if all three members of shield could win the world championship why not all three members of new day as well.
When 1 of the new day win, all the new day win
Then he will be squashed by Brock Lesnar cause he’s a member of the New Day with the WWE Championship
@Zike mazowski I mean can comedic ppl not be champions?
@Zike mazowski They are one of the most dominant tag teams in WWE history. They have amassed 11 tag team championships. Just because they are overly positive doesn’t mean they can’t be the top guys.
@@danielsouthern7920 they are overrated and overpushed
Here's what I would have done (feel free to disagree):
Roman Reigns successfully defends his championship at Summerslam in a triple threat match with Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley after the Uso's interfere and Roman makes Bobby pass out to the Guillotine.
"I'M GOING TO BREAK YOUR DAMN NECK FELLA"
-Shemus
That part cracked me up lol
Totally something he would say too I can hear it. Lol
Musical theatre is Adam's true calling
My first MyGM mode run in 2k22 I had Roman as my top champ, I needed a Fighter at the draft with a good balance of Stamina and Popularity. Enter Xavier, he managed to win the rivalry in a 5 star match. Needless to say when Adam said his name in the booking video I popped hard
That Christmas day Raw would be a tearjerker for sure!
why wwe hasn’t hired adam is insane to me, this was an absolutely amazing booking you really outdid yourself with this one
Wow, this is actually fresh in my opinion and by far the most original and I must say is actually the best way to book every single other people that would have been in line to defeat Roman, basically give Woods the Adam Page treatment of making a megastar by beating almost everyone in line culminating in two feuds:
WALTER and Cody Rhodes
I'd also consider Sami Zayn as a credible opponent when he turns face. Plus he already has a story going on with the Bloodline so they can slowly build them turning on Zayn or something.
Yeah was thinking the same thing
Yeah he turns face with ko and win they win the tag title i don’t think there going to have Sami to beat regins it probably going to be Cody
@@VesiustheBoneCruncher Correct, sir.
This is the best fantasy booking you've ever done. If only WWE gave this much care and support to Woods and the New Day when it came to the World titles.
Oh… And this intro is LIFE!!!!
Song at the start was hilarious
Didn't expect this video to be about Xavier woods, great video
That intro was a masterpiece
Adam is my tribal chief
I hate coming back to reality after being emotionally involved in a story for the past 15 minutes. Great stuff Adam. and damn you wwe for I know you won't do better than this
Oooh! Thanks Adam! Can't wait to watch this. By the way, are you planning on doing a third "Best AEW Matches of the Last Year" like you did for the last two Double or Nothings?
One of your best booking videos. Absolutely lovely.
Adam: I think Judgement Day is a Evolution quality gimmick, if done right.
Me: It wasn't... it really really wasn't
This feels like the best one in ages. Absolutely love it. Love basically all of them but this one is a bit special
That intro song goes so much harder than it should’ve 🔥
Every person hearing the intro “OOH BARS”
I know I'm like a month late but I noticed that Adam going "Who, who, who" when asking who it should be is a little foreshadowing to it being a New Day member. At least I think it was intentional, if not that's a funny coincidence.
I can't believe how emotional I got during this fantasy booking. I'm not sure if it was because of Xavier finally winning the big one, or that amazing operatic assemble at the beginning. It's a toss up.
Adam really predicted Drew Day😂
Dude thank you for bringing your bookings back!!!!!! I used to watch them on what culture. They're so good .
Xavier Woods : finally I am WWE world champion
Brock Lesnar **pulls knife** : you know the drill here
I got this recommended right after mania amazing. Yk Xavier would actually be amazing love the guy he deserves his push.
Adam I am legitimately furious that you put this into my brain knowing it will never happen. This is probably your best booking ever.
Who’s here after Cody lost at Wrestlemania? Horrible decision
No
Agreed. I think Jey could've still had his moment of beating Roman tbh.
Adam actually has a really nice singing voice, good work my man
You know Woods would have one successful defense and then "Oh look it's Brock Lesnar" right?
It'll never happen, but GOD would I be here for this. Creed absolutely deserves the world.
I'd love to see something bigger like "how Adam would save WWE" Instead of just booking one storyline, what changes would you make to the entire promotion to try and regain the fans who have fallen out with the company
Pretty much just watch the "booking vince's 'retirement'" video
bro you can't pin the entire fate of the company on literally one person
@@kingofsting19 they're constantly making nonsensical decisions. More and more wrestlers are asking to leave the company. People are literally walking away from the company. And more and more fans are genuinely wanting nothing to do with the company anymore. Those aren't my opinions, because I still enjoy WWE sometimes, those are facts. Just because YOU are a fan of stupid decisions, doesn't mean everyone else is. It's becoming frustrating to watch the company
@@wolfiehatesgoogle I'm not. It's a hypothetical situation. It's not like Vinnie Mac is going give the company to Adam and actually ask him to save it
@@kingofsting19 i would say it is the majority's tbh.
It NEEDs to be someone stuck in the midcard or unknown.
that intro thoooo no man makes me happier than adam i swear
U made it work. It's all about THE STORY, not the man (or SIZE of the man, or "stardom" of the man, as Vince seemingly now ONLY believes), when building a great, successful feud & main event....
Might I add one thing, because one important part is obv too predictable...
We pick up at: "if ya smelllll....!"
Rock comes out the curtain but doesn't come down the aisle. He doesn't look at the fans, the crowd, he doesn't take in the adulation, his eyes are FIXATED on Roman, who is staring back, cocky smirk on his face.
After only a handful of seconds, The Rock goes BACK behind the curtain, and 10 seconds later, we see the Uso's, kinda stumbling as if being pushed back out... followed by the Rock, who is yelling at them pushing them, pointing to the ring, all in the manner of "GET BACK OUT THERE, GET YOUR ASSES BACK out there..."
We even have great camera work locked onto Rocky's face, and we can read his lips, "FOLLOW your Tribal Chief!"
The 3 of them walk down there, Usos begrudgingly climb onto the apron, where the Rock then jumps up onto between them.
As the 3 leave, Rock is gesturing "leave that dirt bag counting lights where he belongs, let's go fellas"
I'd just like to see a little more intrigue, a little more "will he/won't he?" from something like this.... theme song, big entrance, mini stare down, smile, hug, instant "turn" has been done to death....
Pinning all 3 solo even if it was from roll ups would be too much
I’ve been feeling like Woods deserves the world title and my god this would be sweet.
This takes away the psychological part of the story that Roman can't seem to beat Woods though.
Plus the roll up is a special call out to his fans that follow him and UpUpDownDown ha
Plus, as Adam noted, it introduces a vulnerability for someone who’s being booked too invincible.
simple answer bring back the new day
I still want to see how WWE should of booked Daniel Bryan’s return.
Somewhere in the multiverse this happened. Unfortunately we are not in that universe
Goosebumps. I wasn't sold, but you got me hooked. I love this idea.
I actually started tearing up.
This is impeccable stuff.
Holy hell, Adam… I was in from the moment you said your choice of who to do the dethroning, but you had me in tears by the end of it. I Need This.
Jesus Christ I was not prepared for a wrestling musical starring Adam Blampied but now I AM HERE FOR IT!
Serenade us you beautiful man!
I’d die to hear your opinion on How WWE should have booked Chris Jericho’s undisputed championship reign back in 2001/02. Hope you see this and consider it!
This is why Adam should be an actual booker. The man knows how to make a good emotional feel-good storyline.
Remember this shit? Lmao
best beginning 2 minutes of a video EVER!
damn, this booking legit brought me to tears ngl
Burger King Crown lol
Adam's fantasy booking videos always make my day
Honestly I been wanting this ever since that Xavier-Roman mini feud they had this would be the best choice possible
OMG You maniac! I'm sold! Make this happen!
That intro makes me really want a Calling Spots return so bad
