Andrew Finnell In comparison to Superior Iron Man, Doc Ock was a saint. The guy was an insufferable douche to people though. He might have been on the straight-and-narrow but he still treated people harshly, especially those he considered “inferior”, which was, basically, everyone he met.
It made his interactions with Anna Maria and his ultimate “sacrifice” all the more impactful though.
That "God complex" line is what got me interested in this variant. I always find characters with God complex very interesting.

There was a previous plot arc- late 80's, I think? - in which Daredevil briefly regained his sight. It effectively stopped him from functioning as a hero, while it lasted. Turns out that not being able to *see* the danger he subjects himself to, be it combat or vaulting between rooftops, was a large part of his fearlessness all those years.

Jonathan Weatherspoon even match, superior spiderman was a mix of Otto and Peter and Otto always had backups which is why he wasn't the superior spiderman. Superior Ironman was basically a god to normal people but superior spiderman could've pulled it off

The nano tech suit is based on the Bleeding Edge armor (my personal favorite suit), which is the pre-cursor to the Endo-Sym.

Nicholas Helliwell Hydra Captain America is about an ideal, he genuinely wants to make the world a better place for the good of the people. He's just willing to step on their throats to do it. Superior Iron Man is not out to help people. Everything he does is to help himself in one form or another. One would use the other as best they could to fit their needs and achieve their goals but they would eventually turn on each other. It would be inevitable.

I thought it was interesting that the final glimpse we get of Foggy in that last panel as Matt is returning to his normal senses. We're catch sort of a glimpse of how Matt views Foggy without sightedness. Foggy changes from the pudgy, kind of goofy-looking, lovable cuddly dude that we all know so well, and that artists over the years have really worked consistently to portray him as. In the last panel, Foggy has this strong, chisled jaw line and fierce eyes; he's a figure of strength. I can't help but think that was deliberate, it shows us, without having to spell it out, just how strong and powerful Matt views Foggy Nelson, his friend, partner, and man at arm's. Incredible, subtle touch.

I would really love to see Superior Iron Man after Avengers 4, somewhere in the future. Knowing that Venom is around by now but sadly I don’t think he is connected to the MCU. The only problem is either Tony will retire or will die somewhere in Avengers 4.

Probably Tony. I'd think Otto would end up underestimating the threat that Tony poses without morals. They both likely to underestimate each other due to their unrivaled egos, but I think Tony is able to cover all of his bases better.

You ever listen to the iron man song? It almost perfectly describes whats happened in the mcu, and alittle foreshadowing as well. I think its totally possible iron man goes off the rails soon. He's tried so hard to make things right, and cant catch a break.
