- The Michigan Mens Glee Club is singing The Yellow and Blue, on the Diag during a memorial service, the evening that Bo Schembechler passed away.
Like my other clips, this was captured on a digital camera, so not the best clip, but very moving.
Go Blue!
I drove from Cleveland Ohio to be at this vigil with my girlfriend who is a graduate... I have been a Michigan fan since I was 5, I am 38 now.
... I was accepted to go there but could not afford it, but my heart is still with The University of Michigan. Bo represented everything that Michigan was, is, and always will be... Forever... Go Blue.
a fine tribute to a great coach who always upheld the high academic and athletic standards of The University of Michigan. Whenever 100,000 plus gather at the Corner of Stadium and Main, the spirit of Coach Bo Schembechler will always be there. It is people like Bo who make Michigan the great university that it is, and who inspire the loyalty of all residents of Wolverine Nation.
I'm a student at Michigan, and I was lucky enough to be in Ann Arbor for this vigil. I'm not ashamed to say I was tearing up as they sang this amazing tribute to one of the greatest coaches of all time. Bo was the epitome of a Michigan Man, and I only wish I could have seen one of his teams play. I love reading about him and his amazing stories, and this beautiful alma mater was the perfect way to say goodbye.
Now it's been 5 years. Can't believe it's been that long. But I do believe that Bo would've been so proud of what Coach Hoke and this team has accomplished so far, and what they have yet to accomplish in the near future. RIP Bo, and Go Blue.
4 years ago, today, Bo left us. Miss you, coach.
A beautiful tribute on a very sad night, wish I was there. I think Bo might have been embarrassed, but very grateful. Thanks for posting. GO BLUE!
Hurrah for the Yellow and Blue. Miss you, Bo.
Hail to the colors that float in the light
Hurrah for the Yellow and Blue!
UM 40, OSU 34!!! That one was for you, Bo, hope you watched from up above. Miss you always, and GO BLUE!
Hail. My favorite part. R.I.P. Bo
I'm a Penn State fan but I have to say this was a great tribute and one of the greatest coaches of all time was lost when Bo passed. It's a shame that Joe Paterno and Bo Schembechler never got a chance to play each other.
And just ignore watchfullhouse, he's too young to remember Bo and too immature to know there's a time for trash talk and a time to show respect.
miss you, Bo.
I miss you Bo
You think there will be a midnight candle-lit vigil at yer funeral, watchfulhose? Doubt it.
A football memorial hall named after you?
Doubt it..
This honor is reserved for Michigan Men.
And so is this video. So go stuff a buckeye way up where the sun don't shine, okay?
Go BO!
Go BLUE!!
