Agreed the refresh saved the day 2 hair! Would like to add Purology to your wash day brand list. New to your channel and have learned a TON about my hair I never knew. Found out I'm a 2b-2c wavy girl so your demos are right what I'm needing. TY!!
I looooove the curl defining gel, but that shampoo is the worst shampoo in the history of time Btw you can refresh with that gel without adding any water
Very interesting wash day, with both pros and cons. Overall this helps me to decide I likely won't try this brand. Thanks for continuing to do the one brand trials - so helpful! And love the day 2 outfit. It looked very YOU while still being different from your much loved t-shirt style.
Hey Courtney! I really enjoy watching your one brand wash days!! I'm curious if you've ever tried the Kenra products...especially the Allcurl line in particular?? I would love to see how they perform! I've been using the curl defining creme 5 (not part of the Allcurl line) and really like it!
Have you tried the Amika brand? I like the Kure and the 3D lines. I switch between them depending on the weather and what I think my hair needs at the moment.
Wow! It looks great! Surprised you like the smell since you have sensitive allergies, the smell killed this brand for me. Oh well. Can you please do a video on the new Aveda Be Curly line that just launched? TIA!
I am quite sensitive to scents, too, but I don't have a problem with the Boucleme products, I like how they smell (not to chemical) and the scent vanishes quite quickly. Aveda on the other hand... I can't stand.the smell - so overpowering, especially the pink (hydrating?) line. The only product I can use is the Be curly style prep.
How would you feel to try the Unite Boing curl hair products? I love the defining curl cream but no idea how the other products perform. Have a good weekend and keep the series going they DO help a lot!
Courtney, I have learned SO MUCH from your channel since January 2 (the beginning of my wavy girl journey) and find your videos invaluable! I do have a couple of questions for you, though. The first is how do you keep your hair from tangling when you go from styling upside down/plopping to letting it down from the plop in order to style? I find that my hair will have amazing curl clumps, but they will literally be in CLUMPS. The second question is whether or not you find a difference/benefit between using a true SILK pillowcase vs a satin/silky pillow case.
Love Boucleme! And love that your hair reacts exactly the same as mine! That’s very promising of I ever want to try something else. I’ll just watch your videos. 👌🏻 Definitely try the mousse too, that is my absolute favorite next to the curl defining gel. By the way, love the outfit at the end!
Could you do a washday with Chi products? I’ve heard you like the Infra gel. I guess not all there products are CG approved but some are. I also appreciate that, at least the few I looked at, were gluten free. I know gluten isn’t absorbed by the skin, but if you wash upright like I do, product can run all over your face and you can be contaminated. I love your videos and shirts!
I think your hair looks really pretty. What do you ask your hairdresser for please? Is it one length, some long layers and a bit of shaping around the face? Also, I really admire you for never getting your T-shirt wet when you wash your hair. If that was me, then mine would be soaking. Lol. Blessings from the United Kingdom. X
I really like the Boucleme curl defining gel and super hold styler used together. It is a pricy brand but I find I only need a small amount of each. I don't love the shampoo and conditioner though. I would love to try their mousse and the new hairspray! Another brand I would love to see you do a video on is JSL Essentials. 😊
Please try umberto Giannini curl jelly and curl whip, and the AG mouse gel! Maybe Bouncecurl too as I’m looking at the brush, but now I’m curious about comparing their stylers. Thanks! Also, I loved the second day outfit 😘
Wow Courtney 👌 💕 your refresh on day 2 turned out so beautiful 😍 I'm wondering 🤔 the Boucleme Curl Defining Gel is expensive. Do you personally think it is worth the money? I don't really have the financial freedom to spend a lot of money on my hair. But if it's that good and you think it's worth it, I'd actually like to try it. I hope you respond to my question and thank you in advance if you do. You are amazing, and I have learned so much from you❤
Why would they formulate with sea salt in a shampoo? I get that it can help with curls but generally it’s in a styling product not a shampoo. Curious… 🤷🏻♀️
Hello lovely Courtney love your channel. Have you ever used Yari green curls on such a fine hairline? God bless you and your family, greetings from Holland 😊
So I’m ‘yet again’ going down the curly rabbit hole….I have a 2b/c - sometimes even a 3a, curl - fine, thick, porous. I really struggle to find the ideal products and had previously used the ISO Bouncy Crème, which I see is now discontinued (I still have some, which tells you how often I do this 😂). I read online that the Boucleme curl cream is similar, would you say it’s lightweight but still conditioning with a little hold? I have a gel I like, it’s just finding a replacement for the curl cream that my hair likes….😢
Why don't you blowdry your roots (ofc carefully to not mess up the curls) with your head upside down at the end when your hair is 90% dry, to get some volume at the roots? Then you let the rest airdry like usually. It's really the best way to get some nice fluff and it would show off your curls more if you had more volume.
I hate shampoo’s and conditioners that leave my hair how yours did while shampooing and conditioning. It’s not worth it to me because it causes way more hair to come out than necessary. Love you though ❤🥰Are you letting your hair grow back out?
I hope you understand that essential oils are NOT oils. The name is a bit misleading, since they aren't oils in the classic sense, and aren't essential in the same way essential amino acids are. They are hydrophobic, but unlike animal and vegetable oils, are not made of fatty acids.
The shampoo not looks the best shampoo you try and you need work hard with the conditioner so, what is the deal? and i have in my country a "natural" dupe to these shampoo and conditioner but not to gel gel and the shampoo is more gentle then this shampoo.
Wowwww i love your results with the gel! It looks so good! But beachy waves is my preferred look. Would to see an ecoslay washday!

What an awesome refresh. Wow! Looks well defined.

Yes, the smell was the worst for me. I don't even remember how the products performed for me because the scent was so off-putting.
I am quite sensitive to scents, too, but I don't have a problem with the Boucleme products, I like how they smell (not to chemical) and the scent vanishes quite quickly. Aveda on the other hand... I love your outfit 😊 your curls are lush too! ❤

It did! LOL Thank you!

Courtney: “I’m going in for a second cleanse” 😂

I thought that day 2 hair looked good even before refresh. Would have loved to see how the refresh held up. Would love to see a hairspray video
Have you tried the Doux or Rizos curls, Rizos has a hair spray I love!
What about curl keeper?? Have you tried any of those?.
Your hair looks great ❤
Thank you so much!

I don't think the UG stuff is available in the US, I've only ever seen non-Americans try it! (I love UG products though)
@@joshuaharper2624 Amazon sells it!
Curious about the new drugstore brand V & Co. They have a specific Wavy Hair line but I haven't seen them come out with stylers.
Do Rezo Curl Manifest for the next one brand wash day. The gel is pretty amazing! All the products are good, but I only had a sample pack.

The co washes aren’t great. I liked the gel in the purple tube.
I feel like the cleansers are just too oily and heavy. Leave a residue too!
Your hair didn't look wet enough on your first cleanse. My hair is like that too. It takes a few minutes to get it really soaked.
Why would they formulate with sea salt in a shampoo? I get that it can help with curls but generally it’s in a styling product not a shampoo. Curious… 🤷🏻♀️
I love your shirt and sweater !!!!! Where did you get it from?

Virtue products please. Thank you.

OMG! Finally a brand I can actually get at my German drug store lmao 😂
Wo kann man die denn kaufen?🤣
Yay! Love this!

Can you do Dermorganic?
Do you diffuse your hair upside down or right side up? Also, do you pixie diffuse? Thx!
I would love to see your hair parted in the middle

Have you tryed pretty curly girl yet?
You lost all your volume, too!
Boucleme or Curlsmith what is better?🫶😅
