If you call yourself a PC guy and you like Windows then Ally and Go are actually better for you than the Steam Deck. This is a fact if you like the idea of docking and using your handheld for anything else other than gaming. Windows gives you the ability to stream or play anything, let alone handle your life or business. The Ally is not the Best Portable Gaming Console...that goes to the Switch. The Steam Deck can also run much better as a console, its a gaming focused purpose-built device. If you however want a truly well rounded device that with an extra click can run Steam anyway, then you want an Ally or Go. Yes you will want to use your SSD instead of the memory card, that's not a deal breaker. Yes you can play all the things, all the emulators and competitors, Sony, Microsoft, Valve you name it. You will need to learn though.

The steam deck is the most balanced of them all. When it come to performance.
It running Linux is the biggest complaint these people have.
But the deck has a great community & valve support behind it, that's one of the biggest reasons I brought mine.

Definitely is not the go and ally has the most powerful chip I love all my hand helds except the steam deck it’s actually trash I know you haven’t probably experienced anything out side the deck lol

The only reason why they pick asus is bc of Windows plus they didn't say nothing about the micro sd card been burn up by the exhaust fans! Trash review.

Steamdeck for World of Warcraft 🤷‍♂️. Like being able to play again without an expensive setup. I still have my laptop for FL studio, may end up with another laptop (love the portability) 5 years ago just ran better.

being a handheld doesn't make it a console. Switch is the only true console, but Steam Deck has the storefront and support to give a console experience. the others are just a pc or android and require a lot of custom setup

Its an indie game pc console tho not a AAA games. Can only play PS3 Pc port and some PS4 PC port but modern PS5 port goodluck playing it Starwars JEDI, Returnal, and Rachet and Clabk Rift apart, even the Hogwards game goodluck on playing that on the deck what more on the upcoming games. Software support cannot fix a weak hardware goodluck on futute proofing even if its supported for 3 years if hardware cannot handle it then its pretty much useless.
