Sick truck man! I got a 95 4.0 ohv as well and seeing yours running nice with a turbo is awsome. Did you have to do any internals? Head studs? Is there a full breakdown on how you did it? Id love to know more about the route you took to boost it!
@@quentinshea3011 one of my previous videos shows it but its pretty much bone stock on 9 psi. Once i get some larger injectors i plan on doing heat studs and felpro heavy duty head gaskets and pushing it to probably 12 psi. Im unsure if i want to do the comp cam or not
@FFRGarage thanks for the reply man! And that is a good sounding plan, i did the heads in mine a year ago and did the felpro hg but i regret not going with head studs now. I want boost but without learning how to weld itll never get done, so i guess i know my next step🤣
@ i learned welding doing a bedmount setup some years ago in another 4.0 ranger before i learned standalone ecu stuff. It was ROUGH compared to what this one is now
@@FFRGarage aye that sounds sick too though. Was that easier or do you prefer this setup you have now? Im mostly confused on how people build the exhaust or hot side pipes on stock manifolds without things getting in the way but i guess welding covers that since you can custom build the pipes
@ im on stock manifolds now. Passenger side is flip and a crossover pipe is connected to the drivers side. This setup is way better and way faster. Turbo response is actually about the same on both but standalone tuning is better by far
