UK Level Crossings & Trains Channel I don’t see why they need it THAT loud? It is basically in the middle of nowhere (a quiet part) so why the loud alarms?
These alarms are too loud considering how quiet the surroundings are. Level crossing alarms are usually loud for a reason, sometimes that reason isn't obvious at first, which is why I tend not to make random assumptions. Idk how the residents put up with it constantly lowering on a fairly busy line.
UK Level Crossings & Trains Channel Also, today I went for a walk and went down by the crossing and it went off once, no train, so it went back up and then did the same thing 2 other times then finally stayed down. Do you know why? And the people were literally coming out their house to see what it was doing! 🤔😂
Awesome Video! This is one of my favourite crossings in Suffolk along with Woodbridge, Trimley and others! Thanks for linking my video, really helped 😃🚦👍😊
Thanks! 👍🏻😁 I must admit that in terms of Suffolk, I like Victoria Road the most. Woodbridge, Felixstowe Beach, Claydon and Morston Hall are also up there - I didn't think too much of this one, although I did like it a bit. I thought I might as well link your vid, as you uploaded it not too long before I had scheduled this to come out ☺
Thanks! 👌🏻 Unfortunately, I don't remember where the train started from - it had come from the midlands or thereabouts, since it had come via Peterborough, Ely and Bury St. Edmunds to get to Felixstowe.
Those alarms are flipping loud lol.
They are incredibly loud considering the quiet urban and residential surroundings to be honest.

Those barriers need fixing.
These barriers are certainly worse for wear. Doesn't help that the arms of two are fitted the incorrect way around...
