I have brought the same laptop a month ago. After bringing it home, I noticed there was a bulge on the right side of trackpad so I called hp customer care. After checking the laptop, the technical support person told me that the hard disk drive was a bit displaced. He fixed it but I still have a doubt in my mind. My laptop heats up on the right side of trackpad while using it? Is it normal? The left side of trackpad remains totally normal. I asked hp abt it. They said its because the processor is located in that area and it is normal for ryzen processors to heat up. Is it normal for the right sidw of trackpad to heat up? or should I call hp once again?

Yes, mine does that too because, as you guessed, that's where the processor & GPU located, hence the heat during usage. If you still bothered by that, then perhaps change the thermal paste.

Does the laptop supports an eGPU?

+Calvin Julio Solution one- download (speccy) It'll tell you your motherboard name, google it to check if it has a graphics card slot that is welded in place or is one that can be changed. If yes then go onto crucial.co.uk it should help to tell you what graphics card you're best upgrading to or if you know your stuff then get whichever you like. solution two - if your card is soldered into place then just buy a new one. Remember if you're going to open up your laptop chances are your warranty will be void.

+Lalropuia Sailo HP does not recommend upgrading or downgrading hardware parts or software that is bundled with the product as It may affect the manufacturer's warranty and performance, however, you could change the configuration at your own discretion.
