Head-to-Head: Which FIRE STARTER Is Best?!

Like most mountain men and women, I have made my fair share of camp fires and cook flames. However, they haven't always gone smoothly and effortlessly, especially with water involved, or a dead lighter. Not every source of flame is made equal, but even more so - not every tinder and fire starter is made equal. Some are heavier than others, some burn way longer than others, some produce a very hot and tall flame for a short while while others produce a very small but long-burning flame. Is it possible to have both? What's the densest fire starter/tinder a hiker/rider/camper could carry?
In this video, I try to chip off a small piece of this seemingly-endless iceberg. I test almost 30 different fire starter methods that range from well-known and easy to get, to completely unheard of by the general outdoor-enthusiast population.
