Сергея Рахманинова я впервые услышал лет в 12 (1969-1970): у нас была пластинка с записями исполнения Рахманиновым собственных произведений. В то время я уже был "перекормлен" классикой и только-только открыл для себя вселенную западной рок-музыки, гораздо глубже резонирующую с "вибрациями" моей души :-) Но Рахманинов меня поразил и покорил, даже не знаю чем (наверное, сердечностью исполнения и проникновенностью самой его музыки): я регулярно ставил его пластинку и хранил её до самого отъезда из СССР (1989). Недавно с удивлением встретил пренебрежительное о нём мнение (имени музыканта называть здесь не хочу), как о "дилетанте" и едва ли не "одном из русских профанаторов классической музыки" (!). Из-за варварской войны фашистских угробищ России против Украины и цивилизации стало почти "модным" говорить так обо всей русской культуре. Не будучи и не считая себя "знатоком" музыкальной классики, с подобным мнением о Рахманинове я категорически не согласен. Посему, мне особенно приятно послушать сегодня Рахманинова в исполнении Елены Пиччионе :-) Merci!
