5-13-22 Sioux Falls Tornado? NO! It was a HABOOB and a DERECHO!

A rare weather event happened in the Sioux Falls and wide spread surrounding areas. What was thought to be a tornado event was actually a Haboob, a large dust or dirt storm and a Derecho, a wide, straight line wind event the leave a path of destruction at LEAST 250 miles long happening at the same time! CRAZY WEATHER!

@2ustravels77 I believe it! Oh yes, derechos are scary! Experienced one last summer in Ohio. We had two storms come through, will never forget the night either.. never heard of a haboob though

@@cassietroyer1195 A haboob is a violent wind storm that picks up and carries dirt or sand, this storm was a wall thousands of feet high of brown dirt!
