if find the term idol dancer so annoying like most brilliant 'idol dancers' are just fantastic DANCERS like no need to undermine their ability just coz they're an idol. Also jisungs age and his image has heavily impacted how people see him and underestimate his skills, it's unfortunate. like some would say he's only top 5 in nct when he's easily top 3 maybe even top 2 now shotaro has left like. he IS A GREAT DANCER.
“Idol dancer” doesn’t even refer to Jisung cause he was a dancer before he was even in SM. People love to forget that Jisung was proffesionally trained , just like Shotaro, but for some reason they only give credit for Taro and not Jisung. And personally. I think that Jisung was on the same level as Taro or even slightly better. I mean, the only thing that Jisung lacks is control of facial expressions, but i feel like he improved with that lately, looking at his recent performances. Jisung has better footwork than Taro ( literally the best in whole NCT) , mastered the level of Taemin when it comes to Body control or speed. His isolations, popping and basically how he executes every single move always leave people speechless. And they always act as if they forget that Jisung ain’t some random “idol dancer” that was traineed under SM, but was traineed proffesionally and that dancing is like a part of him ( people focus too much on him being the maknae and forget to pay attention to his talents) Tbh if Ten wasn’t in NCT, Jisung would easily be the best NcT dancer.
