I think with Jisung, because he doesn't get many lines it means he doesn't have enough center parts. But with his dance skills he truly balances the entire group's performance really well!! However I always find myself watching his focus cams just cause the way he moves (& hits literally every beat) is so mesmerising to me.

Mark is a phenomenal dancer. And yes, quite frequently that is overshadowed by what an incredible rapper he is. The other main dancers that I feel is overlooked, but because of his vocals, is Renjun. Tiny, ethereal Renjun is SO good.

Mark is a main rapper and main dancer in his both unit which is 127 and Dream. He was a dance major students from SOPA, but surprisingly there’s so many people that unknowledge about his dance skills. When the studio choom’s content came out even knetz said “imagine being so talented that your rap skills overshadowed your dancing skills” thats why im so glad u notice him guys thankyou so much😭❤️

@@nennylol4851 I think Marks versatility speaks volumes about who he is as a talent and as a person. That’s his advantage. What I think about the others is that there are too many of them. 😂 instead of placing them all in NCT they should make actual boy bands so that the members won’t overshadow each other. The newer members are not gonna be known for NCT the way the original members are.
I think this really shows how SM should give Jisung more opportunities to show his skills. This boy can do so much more is literally being buried.

Jisung is one of my fav dancers in kpop, he truly is amazing!
Mark is so good at what he does that he can outshine one skill with another. When he debuted, people immediately noticed his amazing rap and henceforth they only mentioned Mark when it came to rap. but his dancing skills are only as good as his rapping!
NCT Dream had been training together since they were around 9-14, and they’re one of the more cohesive NCT units and overall SM groups in terms of skill in dancing. Mark is an ace, he’s so clear and in control of his body it’s wild, Renjun is a vocalist but he passed his sm audition through dance, Jeno and Jaemin also hold lead dancer positions and you can always see the shift in energy once they come to the middle, Haechan and Chenle don’t technically have dance positions in Dream (Haechan does in 127) you’ll never catch them lacking and Jisung’s specialty is actually popping. They all have grown so much over the years (especially since everyone debuted as minors💀) and they’re truly underrated as a group in dance

Because yes many people know that they can dance like as individuals but when you ask people who are some of the best groups in dance in kpop I rarely ever see NCT Dream SPECIFICALLY enter the discussion despite the fact that even though they debuted young and they’re all technically skilled in different areas they manage to stay very consistent as a group.

What's amazing with Mark is he came to the industry with only his passion and hardworking spirit and excelled in what he does. He was only a kid who likes to write and to study and into basketball, then he auditioned and became a well known rapper and a very strong dancer. An all rounder that his agency and peers all recognize. 👏👏👏

Jisung has been one of my absolute favorite kpop dancers since his MFAL intro, so good! I think anyone familiar with Dream/NCT knows how phenomenal he is, but he is still severely underutilized in their choreos which is a real shame.

THANK YOU! Mark is never mentioned when people talk about the best dancers in NCT, TBF they have TY, Jisung and TEN so I get it - but I feel like people sleep on him waaay too much. Dude is ELITE. He makes the most simple movements look so cool and your eyes will naturally get drawn to him even when dancing in a group.
Nah, Mark is literally right after TEN. His dance isn't just due to how well he trained, but it's the music moving through his body. Ten always gets extra points because he mastered so many styles and is a dance chameleon but Mark in Hip-hop is super swag, powerful and natural.

Obviously they both have mastered so many techniques and styles, but I'd say for some that Taeyong is better, and for others Mark is. But the best thing is that they balance each other out and play to each other's strengths which already makes a good dancer imo.
nct dream as a group is truly out of this world, their talent is not just one dimensional for sure, they excel in everything ❤ they are one of the best performers im the industry imo

SM put all the strongest vocalist in 127 (Taeil, Doyoung, Jaehyun and Jungwoo, Haechan is 5th). Renjun and Chenle are very good vocalist, but nct dream strongest point is their dance. Don't get me wrong, I love their music, but they're are not that good in vocals
@jeffersongarcia_ hmmm i disagree, their vocals in broken melodies and their other recent songs were really good, they had improved a lot from the time they were kids. Compared to 127, I think Dream's strength is in the harmonies. Their voices compliment each other. Each of their vocalists bring something new to the table, Chenle has a very stable voice and good in adlibs, Renjun adds a lot of emotions in their songs, and Haechan has really good vocal techniques. The rappers could hold their own in terms of singing too and can support with the lower register of songs which gives Dream's songs a very full and rich sound. Dream is a total package, they excel both in vocals, dance and even stage presence.

they're both main dancers so eitheir way you are right😂 i really agree when u were talking abt jisung isolation i've been saying this for ages especially his chest isolation is insane. meanwhile mark is an amazing dancer with very strong basic skills and an aura that made u unable not watching him jisung is a more calm performer but he has that elegance and precision in this movement. nct dream as a whole is one of the most cohesive group in term of dancing with everybody having high skills and shining moments in the choreo. their versatility is also impressive as they can pull off any concept

ATP I feel like Mark Lee is really a household name. The fact that a lot of people who have little to no knowledge about NCT knows Mark and that he's a really good rapper. It's also not unusual that people tend to get surprised when they learn that he's actually a good dancer too.

I found them thru their tiktok dance challenges. They are killing it like HOT DAMNNN. 🔥 Jisung especially, he eats all the other idols when doing any viral dance challenges(blue check, saebbing, smoke). His popping technique makes him above another level in musicality while mark lee is grooviest and swaggiest dancer I've ever seen!!! Both of them can make any choreo suit their style which makes then super ultra talented!!
I would definitely choose Jisung, it's just a pity that he is a main dancer but during group dances, he doesn't get a lot of time in the center and as for their duo project I also felt like Mark was given more chances to shine with the choreo, Jisung could easily do much more sophisticated dance and after watching it I really was not satisfied with the choreo given to Jisung, I was hungry for much more, Mark is a great dancer but Jisung has this moves which nobody has, like his footwork and popping is so clean, he is so detailed it feels like he controls even his hair

Me as an NCTzens, with that large pool of talents, with so many biases and bias wreckers, MARK LEE is still my fav main dancer. I know it’s personal and so hard to choose a fav. A lot of reaction videos I've seen (and I enjoy watching those who aren't already familiar with NCT) put Mark at the top of the list when it comes to the best dancers in the whole group. Crazy how someone can have that much talent in him that it's easily visible even to people who don't even know the official position given to him.

@@jordyn2631Jisung is the only main dancer in NCT Dream when they debuted on 2016, he is not just the maknae of the group , but the leading performer. The official announced main dancer of NCT since debut are Ten, TY, Jisung, and they all attended dancing competition/Variety show as the representative of NCT. Mark was mentioned on melon as "main dancer" on 2022/2023. Mark's dance is good and he's really work hard on it, but I must say, talking about dancing skills, foundation and performing art, Ten, TY and Jisung these three are on next level.

Loving this Mark recognition! Officially both him and Jisung are the main dancers so whoever you chose would've been right. And Dream as a group has the best balance out of all NCT units, in my opinion, when it comes to being on the same level of dancing. So there's that. But because Mark is also a main rapper, people (even fans) really do forget that he's THAT good. His footwork and groovy moves have always been the best. There's a reason why he's often given center positions in dance breaks or choruses (or just those moves that pop, yknow, like you said). It's easy to forget that not everyone is this good when there's Mark always giving his best performance and making it look so easy. But again Mark's skills are insane and he deserves all the recognition! I'm also glad he got that dancing feature with Jisung as it put his dancing skills in the spotlight. Thank you for this video!

I think its probable that really good rappers/hip hop artists have something in them to be amazing dancers, it's all about the beat. (jhope), finding that pocket. Johnny once said the company discovered Mark and called him a prodigy. He basically is the "perfect" Kpop artist. He does everything flawlessly, sing, dance, rap. He's nonsexual for the most part in his real life, a sweet Christian Canadian boy, when of course the industry prefers their artists to be forever single. He speaks Korean and English, a huge plus for promotions. Is a tireless worker as seen in his recording videos. He won't have to lose popularity going into the Army since he's not Korean. And his solo pop song Golden Hour, was a smash hit. He can go solo, but blends in perfectly with any ensemble because he's a team player. I wonder if he needs or ever wants a different life.

It was so much fun watching professional dancers react to Dream. All of them are excellent performers. The Mark-Jisung pairing was also entertaining to watch. Both are terrific, but Mark is my personal favorite; his style appeals to me more than Jisung’s. They definitely deserve the attention they receive.

I'm glad Mark is getting praise for his dancing, but I don't understand why people are saying his rap overshadows his dancing when he is center most of the time in NCT 127 & Dream. A lot of people like to discredit him and say he's not a main dancer, but he is why do you think he's in so many groups? It's because Mark is the full package.
