      well, Mesquite has some good hotspots around it but I personally think Mesquite has gone downhill

    I have lived here since 2003,moved here with my job. Wish I hadn't.
    There is nothing attractive at all about living here.
    The roads, side walks and kerb sides are all broken for the most part, the city never fixes anything properly.
    They throw tar down instead of concrete for road repair which after 12 months is broken again.
    If your looking for nightlife forget it, it's dead, non existent.
    I'm a senior now and own my home since 2003,I lived in Plano prior to moving here and I can tell you Plano is so much nicer than Mesquite it's not even close.

      Thanks for sharing your experience. I agree, Plano is much nicer. It’s nicer than most suburbs in my opinion.
