Lecture 1 | How to draw a cam profile (Knife edge follower)

This video explains how to draw a cam profile in case of knife edge follower.
The out stroke is with simple harmonic motion (S.H.M.) and return stroke is also with simple harmonic motion (S.H.M.). displacement diagram is drawn accordingly.

For displacement diagram , method is same .... But for cam profile you will need base circle , Pitch circle and method will be slightly different ....
