    my nonna would make sooo many different dishes, but baked polenta with tomato sauce is something that just popped in my head. It's definitely an acquired taste + texture but it makes me think of her!

    No grandparents but my mom used to cook tortellini pasta with freezer blocks of spinach and cream. It was our favorite food and so cheap and easy :)

      i’ve only had pre-made tortellini so far and they were not good :( i think i just need to go to italy to get proper ones!

    It's so real that the receipt you ate as a kid is everything. I love buckwheat because of it and my grandma sometimes cooked the buns(pierozky :D) with the poppy seeds. I love everything with poppy seeds now 💗

      i love buckwheat too! and my hubby and i always cook veggie salad the way our grandams did it: tomatoes, cucumbers, sour cream, onions, salt and pepper.
