Hello, I just found your wonderful videos. I wonder if you have a video for how to make a hood that was missing from my coat that was a snap-on hood. I believe that there was a band that was attached to a 3-piece hood that snapped onto the coat collar. Would I start with the band section first and then how would I go about making the hood section? Would love your advice....my ears are getting cold when I wear this coat. 😄
Hi, you can make a regular hood patterns (no matter 2 piece or 3 piece) and make a band pattern with snaps. A detachable hood pattern making video will be posted in the near future. Stay tuned 😊

How much fabric will i need to construct this?
It depends on the hood size and fabric width. But in general, you can measure the length of the center back piece. Plus seam allowance. That's the consumption.
