13:40 he glosses over this without much detail and I’m confused. The nzxt h510 has a usb gen 2 port, but the b450 tomahawk max doesn’t have a gen 2 header. How is it not incompatible? Is there something I’m missing?
Don't worry fam I gotchu. This motherboard has a usb 3.2 gen 1 header (formerly known as usb 3.0) but the case has a usb 3.2 gen 2 usb type-c port (formerly known as usb 3.1). To use that usb type-c port, you would need an adapter such as this one: www.amazon.com/Socket-Header-Extension-Adapter-Motherboard/dp/B07P98M1G9 Do note that you obviously will not get usb 3.2 gen 2 speeds but the port will be functional
@@deadalpeca8099 so I heard somewhere that the case has one cable for both ports, which is what makes it more beginner friendly. Is this true? If so, how would you use the adapter without losing the usb 3.0 port?
@@deadalpeca8099 sorry if this seems dumb, i dont really understand everything yet lol, but will it be functional without the adapter? Also if it is what would be the benefit of getting one?
This was a really good tutorial, u talked about every part and how to plug in. Now i just need to get the money. And most of these parts are more expensive in Sweden were i live
To anybody currently watching in January 2021, keep in mind that the pandemic and where you live can (and most probably will) cause the $700 total to fluctuate by as much as $200-300. GPU prices are higher than usual so keep that in mind. Happy building!
@Drago Bakota RX 570 4GB version is a solid choice for budget builds that aim for 1080P, 60 FPS or higher, especially when paired with a nice Ryzen 3 or 5 CPU. If you can get one for around $150 USD, then it's around the MSRP. Any more than that, then you're already paying extra. RX 580 is also very good! Hope this helps! (:

I have this case and it was so easy to build in and I love it, now my pc is nothing like this and is a lot more complicated and expensive, even then I had an amazing time building in this thing and it's truly amazing.
Couple things: DO NOT put together the mobo on top of the anti-static bag, while no static is inside the bag, the outside may have some still. You don’t need an anti static wristband if you aren’t building in carpet like this guy. If you are building in carpet build barefoot or with shoes but NO socks/slippers
I’m building my first pc right now. I only have the case and the fans (2 sp140mm elites I had so many questions scared with just installing the fans, it feels so good to know I did it correctly! Thanks so much this is the only video I could find that answered my questions.
@Kalvin Antonito Plug it into your PSU connectors. The PSU will have a bit that will attach to the fan connector. If you got the same RGB fans in the video attach them all together using the connectors so it can all be powered from your PSU. Plug the case fans into your motherboard.
I just wanted to leave a quick comment and say that this tutorial was great! Along with the really helpful links, this video walked me through every step of the way and I really appreciate how detailed it is. Amazing video 10/10 👍

My FBI agent really does listen to me, I was just saying I need to find a video with a build using an RX580 and yours popped up 😂 thanks so much for the awesome video!
this is the best tutorial ive seen, ive already built my pc and i know how to do everything but i still watch videos about tutorials and pc parks benchmarks etc just to learn more about pcs and ive never seen anything this informative. earned a sub ;)
The reason i like the build tutorials on this channel more is because there arent unnecessary clips for aesthetic purposes during the building process. Its just a build tutorial and thats exactly what i need lol
what normal people watch to get satisfied: oddly satisfying
what i watch when i want to be satisfied:
Not gonna lie, those oddly satisfying videos are not satisfying to me.
All the wires just makes it look intimidating
Crazy... Maybe this was a $700 build when this was originally made but by my math this is now an $820+ build.
More like 1k for people that don’t have a monitor
Ryzen 3600 prices have gone up quite a bit
It cost me 821 now I need a monitor
To have a gaming pc and try streaming and gaming is a dream of mine, and with this vid I might just be able to make it happen. I have a cousin who is much older and good with tech, he said he would help me build a gaming pc when I'm done saving up for the parts. I can't rly order things online but my mom can help with that :)
Long story short this video was very helpful to me and will help me keep my hopes up due to the fact that my mom's friend's son died today. Remember keep up the good work my guy 😉

Out of very huge curiosity, I touched the pre applied thermal paste. my 1st time building a pc
What is the question?
You not suppose to touch the thermal paste that is applied
id recommend getting a tube of thermal paste and wipe off the stuff you touched and put a pea sized drop of thermal paste onto the cpu, many tutorials on YT if your unsure.
Lmao
This looks cleaner then my 1400 build, same case, diffrent parts damn
I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I AM THANKFUL BECUASE I FOLLOWED YOUR TUTORIAL AND I BUILD THE SAME COMPUTER AND I LOVE IT, THANK YOU

Dominic Tirella really quick question. What’s your FPS on a game. If you could tell me more specific on csgo?
If you built the exact same pc... is it good? does it run a good amount of FPS? if you play Modern Warfare is it good on there? im just scared to build it because its my first pc and ik i can upgrade parts as i go but its my first PC build you know?

I'm actually coming out with an updated 700 dollar PC Build tutorial very soon, stay tuned for that!
13:40 he glosses over this without much detail and I’m confused. The nzxt h510 has a usb gen 2 port, but the b450 tomahawk max doesn’t have a gen 2 header. How is it not incompatible? Is there something I’m missing?
same
Don't worry fam I gotchu. This motherboard has a usb 3.2 gen 1 header (formerly known as usb 3.0) but the case has a usb 3.2 gen 2 usb type-c port (formerly known as usb 3.1). To use that usb type-c port, you would need an adapter such as this one: www.amazon.com/Socket-Header-Extension-Adapter-Motherboard/dp/B07P98M1G9
Do note that you obviously will not get usb 3.2 gen 2 speeds but the port will be functional
@@deadalpeca8099 ohh
@@deadalpeca8099 so I heard somewhere that the case has one cable for both ports, which is what makes it more beginner friendly. Is this true? If so, how would you use the adapter without losing the usb 3.0 port?

@@jaiden1038 oh but it is

When you've watched this video 5 times to make sure u don't mess up
To anybody currently watching in January 2021, keep in mind that the pandemic and where you live can (and most probably will) cause the $700 total to fluctuate by as much as $200-300.
@@zacharyabella982 Hi uhm what do u think about the geforce RTX 1660 super OC 6G. I might buy it bc of the high prices of the geforce GTX 3060/3070/3080
@@moritz5592 Hi! The 1660 Super OC is a good GPU for this build. And as much as I love the 3070, I think it's best to go after fairly priced deals for now while we wait for 30 series cards to drop down in price and actually be in stock. Hope this helps!
Also tax time is back so that won’t help with the prices either because demand will be higher with people having there tax returns.
I have this case and it was so easy to build in and I love it, now my pc is nothing like this and is a lot more complicated and expensive, even then I had an amazing time building in this thing and it's truly amazing.
Couple things:
DO NOT put together the mobo on top of the anti-static bag, while no static is inside the bag, the outside may have some still.
You don’t need an anti static wristband if you aren’t building in carpet like this guy. If you are building in carpet build barefoot or with shoes but NO socks/slippers
i mean, components nowadays have a very good ESD protection. Even if you intentionally to static the mobo, you wont fry anything.
@@Nockky95 the pint is that there is still a chance, and placing the mobo atop the anti static bag is so easy, why would you take that chance?
