Nice base, great video! The Tiny Bass looks like it's a real winner. After just recently getting my first Kala Scout Fretless, I so enjoy playing smaller basses.
It's not long ago that I wasn't interested in basses at all. And now I'm watching every single of your bass videos, bought my second bass and would love to own this as well. Thanks for sharing this great video…
I had an eye on this one for so long, but it was not in stock. Now it is, but I have my Kala already now and the price here is (incl. taxes) twice as much. So its way out of my budget and honestly, the Kala is good enough for me. But it is an adorable Tiny Baby!
Hi Rachel! Thank you for the great review of the Tiny Bass! Just wondering if you ever put flat wounds on your Flight mini bass and if so, which strings did you use and are you happy with them? I put Pyramid Gold 23.5 in on mine. They were slightly smaller in scale, .041-.100. I’m not happy with the tone of the G string. It seems to get lost. I was wondering if you think these strings on the Tiny, which are the same gauge, might work better? Thanks for your input. All the best to you!❤🎶
Please do a comparison of the other minis you have. I have a friend that is a pro player and said my 4 sting jazz sounded the same or better than his full sized basses. Just wondering what is going to be your go to ax now. Thanks
Ah, I heard the bass riff of the White Strips' "Seven Nation Army" in your video. I was working on this song on both my electric Flight Centurion Tenor Uke and my Epiphone SG Muse guitar just over a week ago before performing other songs at the FB group's Windsor Ukulele Circle monthly meeting. We have various levels of ukulele and singing talent but since I brought my Centurion to play with my tiny Positive Grid Spark Go amp, other have started to bring their fully electric ukes. Some are brands I've never heard of before. How goes the uke gigging?
Hi Rachael, I have a Tiny Boy too and I am very happy with it. We have a stockist here in Adelaide, Australia. 'The Ukulele Trading Co', they are excellent to purchase from. I got the other pick-up style and fretted. I only chose the Jazz pick up style because I liked the natural finish on that one. Perhaps you could explain the difference between the pick-ups. Mine has Round Wound strings... perhaps you can suggest an alternative make of strings, as the strings it came with are not readily available here. How often should one change their Bass strings?
If you could only play one...The Kala solid bass or this Tiny Bass, which would you pick? There is a big price difference, is the higher price tag worth it?
If you feel the price difference is justified I’d buy the Tiny Bass but if I was a beginner or had a limited budget I’d be more than happy to recommend theKala solid body u-bass, they really are very good 👍
Neverending my question about comparison. I just found your video comparing the fretted and fretless. Thanks for all you do. Hope you are enjoying your new life path.
I have a question. I never played bass but considering one. I am two options, the TBP-3400NSM and the TBJ-3400NSM. I know one is jazz pickup and one is precision. Both the same size and things. What would make a newbie person like myself lean towards one vs the other? I do not know the difference between precision and Jazz.
The difference is the pick-up configuration, think Fender Jazz and Fender Precision basses. Best bet is to try and listen to both Fenders being played to get an idea of the different sounds. 👍

What was that explosion at 07:09 XD Also I wonder how these basses work with piccolo strings?

Nice review, well done. Love the size and not heard of this brand before.
Hey, didn't know you play bass… I just bought my second one and try to learn… Rici
Excellent, thorough review as usual 👏 Greetings from Sweden
nice to see a new review :)

It's seems like you prefer a fretless bass. Why is that? And how do fretting and fretless compare, pros and cons? It is a beauty to look at and hear.

Rachel did you have to pay a custom charge with this bass?
