Nothing fancy just an Entrepreneur's honest opinion of both after using for designed period of time. They are different from each other and it depends on what your needs are. I have no affiliation with either and I am not selling anything.

Evan, first I would like to take a moment and thank you for this honest and very detailed but simple review. When I look at reviews I look for honesty and sometimes people get very opinionated but I like that you remained objective and pointing out pluses and minuses in addition to just using the scenario of “this may work for you if....”I have the high-performance planner and I have to be honest sometimes I don’t view these as timesavers because I feel like I’ve just added a new task which is “planning the planner”. I think these are both used full and have their place. However I think it’s also very difficult to have a single customize template for every single person out there there’s just too many variables including help people function and think, And where people are at in the stage of evolution

Wow! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and leave such a detailed comment- much appreciated! I’m currently switching back amd firth between the Full Focus Planner and the Law of Attraction Planner (not thrilled with either) but I’ll do for the 3 months. Not sure why I have a thing for planners- lol. I would actually love to design my own.

I am planning to use the 10X Planner for goal reinforcement and software for appointments, emails and scheduling. Software is the most efficient way for call backs, follow up, automate emails, click on rates that a diary cannot do.

Thank you so much for review of these two planners. I have both books but have not read them yet. I am on my second round with the high performance planner but recently went to a Grant Cardone virtual event and decided to try the 10x planner. I love the high performance planner for its detail and its journaling but what attracts me to the 10x planner is writing my goals morning and night and having them constantly updated and changing. Per Brendan's recommendation I have always used my Google Calendar to schedule things out that are beyond the 60 days... using time blocking. I'm going to try out the 10x planner and see how it goes. Thank you so much. Kelly

Thanks for your review, I think those planners are great for someone who can plan their day, people like myself who have a job where you have to be reactive to the needs of others, just need a simple planner where you can schedule a few appointments, days off, or when an event happened.
Thanks for your video, it is really helpful.

High-performance habits was extremely weak. Note pad for yearly goals. Digital Cal for future planning and 10x planner for focusing on your goals and achieving them. Schedule your life out and plan every day the night before based on what meeting have been booked.

What planner are you using? Your statement about the recurring questions in the high performance planner causing guilt was inciteful. I understand the why but there has to be a more positive and productive way to cause sustainable change. I am a new subbie. Thanks

I am using the “The Full Focus Planner” by Michael Hyatt right now. It’s ok- overpriced ($42.00) and a little redundant in my opinion- too many sections to flip back and forth from. 🤷🏻‍♂️

You're one of the only people other than Brendon's personal review of his planner on TH-cam that I have seen who highlights the point that the HPX planner is not intended to replace a separate digital calendar. I think people really miss how much Brendon's views on block time (time boxing) and intentional calendar review as a journaling activity are encoded into the design of the High Performance Planner, and I think not understanding that causes a few people disappointment when they get Brendon's planner.

Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment! I think they all have good and bad qualities and it really comes down to how well someone dedicated the time to use them for their stated intent. I’m currently using the “The Full Focus Planner” by Michael Hyatt and am going to be posting a video on my opinions on that. I hope you check it out and give me your thoughts. Thanks again!

The reason there are no dates or days is because your supposed to be busy to not know what day it is!!

    • @evantinstman
      @evantinstman  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Yeah, but that doesn’t work when you run an apt based business. I book clients out weeks. Filling “white space” for the sake of staying busy doesn’t mean more success or money.

This is a VERY helpful review. I found it because I am designing a planner specifically for people who are struggling. It was very helpful that you mentioned the concepts behind each planner and what they would be useful for. I’m designing MY planner because I need it, but it sounds like something like it already exists. You may have saved me a lot of time and money!
I don’t understand how you lose a week. If you started on the 11th, you’d start on the 11th again, wouldn’t you? There are only 3 weeks left in February, but you’re actually going to use it until March 11th. I guess you’d lose a few more days in February, but if you use it for a year, you’d only lose 1 week per year?
Also, I’m very excited to see your TH-cam journey! I see you only have a handful of videos (so far!) but they are already well produced and helpful!

Thanks for the reviews on both planners. I am a busy mom of 2 young ones and business owner struggling to keep professional and family life balanced.
I used several planners dated and they didn’t work out for me. I considered the 10x planner but was looking to compare first before getting it.
Your review of both planners was great in details to the points : productivity, keeping track of self accomplishment, usefulness for the planner etc..

You would lose a week b/c it’s designed to end on the quarter. It has weekly and monthly “recap and reflection” sections. Starting anywhere but the beginning of a month throws it off. I guess you’d have to see it... either ways it’s a good planner.

Thanks for your review. I've used both as well and agree on your review of them. I've stuck to the HP planner longer than any other system though because it's nature is quite insightful. Loved 10X for the motivational pump - but not as effective in my opinion. Thanks again.

I apologize for the delay in responding. Thanks for taking the time to watch and reply. Intent to read a book a week. I would say my top 5 are:
1: Law Of Success -N. Hill
2: Think And Grow Rich- N. Hill
3: The Motivation Manifesto- B Burchard
      4: Shoe Dog- Phil Knight
5: Your One Word- Evan Carmichael
There are probably 10 tied for #6
I hope you get a chance to read those. All worth the time and full of great, practical advice that can be implemented immediately.

Wow So paper planners are back in fashion....I thought they were a goner.
Grant Cardone...lol I knew when he started was it around 2012....all the man ever did was regurgitate info from other people, never adding anything.
high performance planner look cool as it a journal and planner. Journal and planner together is good for creative and ideas people
Seems like its for business owners and entrepreneurs as heard mention other palces.
Never used a paper planner in the past not even in school.
Both Too expensive. I would just use a decent priced planner.
