It is difficult to find that agricultural businesses are growing in light of the rise in agricultural land prices. This causes migration to cities and officials must take care of this, because after the United Kingdom left the European Union, the country witnessed a wave of immigration. We must control it by reducing land prices in the United Kingdom. So that it will be possible for you to have access to it. Anyway, good discussion and enjoy time after nice afternoon.

Things are never as good as they seem, nor are they as bad as they seem. Really great video Clive and Gary, will be watching again. Thank you.

Thank You Clive and Gary for putting this Video out there. Obviously it’s a very complex issue but if it makes people think and make plans then that’s got to be a good thing. If anything good came out of this budget it is the fact that it forces people to confront the future head on which of course some are reluctant to do. Me included, We just want farm and produce food, AND be left alone to do it

The massive issue regarding giving away assets early that only got a brief mention is DIVORCE. The fifty year old farmer gifts the family farm to the next generation only to see it destroyed by divorce. It would be less expensive to pay inheritance tax.

I'm not sure that de valuing land is wise..... Around me a hell of a lot have borrowed on the strength of the uplift in land prices.... I would think that would make the banks look at things in a different light

I’m sure you are right and gifting earlier will quite likely see more farms broken up to divorce ……… yet more unintended consequences of poorly conceived policies

agree - how many farms could become insolvent or how many lenders could become sub prime if values drop significantly?

Just don’t pay it. Its theft. When you get the bill, don’t pay it. What are they going to do if everyone does it en masse? It’s time for a widespread tax revolt. They don’t need the money anyway as they just print money when they need it, debasing the currency. It’s all a scam and a means of control.

The double cap pickup job will have the motor manufacturers spitting blood too.

Do you think this will be index linked? Land prices only ever seem to go up, a million today could be 100 acres, where will it be in 10 years?

Can you not sell your farm to your son or daughter for one pound ? To avoid the tax
