For thousands of years since the Sumerians, monatomic gold has been used as an “elixir “ to enhance consciousness.

Very nice and clear video. I think however I have spotted a minor mistake. At 1:50 on, the electrons are shown to oscillate in phase with the electric field. This would be correct in the low frequency limit, but not at the plasmon resonance, which is what the animation is supposed to illustrate. In fact, a driven oscillator (the free electrons) at resonance has a pi/2 phase delay with respect to the external force (the electric field). Therefore, in the animation, the charge should flip in correspondence to the crests of the wave rather than the zeros.

I bought some methylene blue with nano liquid gold for enhanced photodynamic activity late one night and haven’t tried using it yet.
From your understanding, What would the possible health benefits and health risks be of combining nano gold with methylene blue or just taking it in general?

Although I red your comment vary lately, I will try to answer your question. may be it helps others with the same question. The answer is simple, especially for in vivo analysis, gold nanoparticle with small size is used. Hence, after accomplishing the mission, it will be easily excreted from the cell.

I agree with the above. Silver and copper are also other strong metals that undergo plasmon resonance. However, gold is also one of the best metals for the oscillation effects. So it will be more efficient to convert light to heat and kill the cancer cells.

One of the major issues about using platinum group metals in chemistry is that they cannot be scaled up cos of their little abundance in the earth, on top of their cost. People should be really focusing on earth-abundant elements and stop doing 'cool' chemistry which wont have a future.

@@chbu7081 lol, you have no idea what you're talking about. The old guy on Oprah wasn't drinking colloidal silver by the teaspoon. He was drinking 8-10 glasses a day for over 20 years of his life at over 100ppm with salt for an extra bang. A teaspoon at 30ppm is going to do nothing to you but keep you healthy. I've been doing it for years and my skin pigmentation is exactly the same. Colloidal gold, copper and silver all kill viruses and bacteria on contact.
