This was beautiful, I don't watch football and I don't listen to much of Valiant's music but watching this interview made my heart smile, especially when Valiant spoke about his son. This is what everyone dreams of, to be better and provide more opportunities for their child/ren that they once dreamt of and lacked. We are more alike than different, the end goal is the same regardless of the path. We are one people. Thank you Wayne and team for bringing light to these stories I otherwise probably wouldn't have known. ❤

I think you were being a groupie with Leon, Valiant need more time too I felt away for him
While I appreciate the opportunity to hear from two Jamaican men exploring excellence in different arenas, it felt like you were having two separate conversations that never looped the interviewees together.
I feel like this interview focused a lot on Leon Bailey, his journey, his achievements and future, while Valiant seemed like an after thought. There could’ve been more conversation around finding out he was adopted, how that experience has shaped his view on family, actually talk the kind of music he makes, how he feels about the state of dancehall, inquire if he really believe in choppa and guzu life, who are his influences in life, etc.
The Nigy Boy and the minister of finance episode, while I didn’t understand the pairing of the two gentlemen, I feel like the conversation flowed better between all three of you!

I kind of get that too, but if you are big a football fan like Wayne I can see where he’s more excited to chat with Bailey, especially with the big season he had. Would’ve been nice to see a separate interview tho’
I think there should be a playlist for The Cut videos so we can easily access all the episodes from this season and past season(s). I am really enjoying this series and I’m happy that the young men of Jamaica get to see examples of successful Jamaican men and hear about their journey.
To have two young influencers at one sitting is awesome. More attention could be directed to Valiant. Great chemistry though

There is a plethora of social media inteviews and podcast where the host/ hosts / interviewer wants to be more important than their invited guests - where the host wants to create drama & confect outrage & even be disrespectful to the guests - like a shock jock ..This is not Wayne style or motive and thats what makes the Wayne show so brilliant.The guests in general look relaxed - and thus more likely to be less guarded It's Wayne first venture into this fornat and i think it can only get better .Leon bailey because of injuries has not reached his peak yet but he is a excellent footballer . Valiant is still work in progress who i hope will clean up his lyrical content

Love, Honor and Respect to Valiant and Leon Bailey. However, I know more about Valiant Dancehall Artists more than Leon Bailey because he plays for a European Soccer Team. I rather see him play for Jamaica than any other team. Yes, he open a lot of doors for Jamaican Soccer Players to get more exposure which is great. But, I really don't watch Soccer because Jamaican Track and Field is my favorite Sports in the world. Anyway, I didn't like the interview because was asking Leon Bailey all the interview questions. Yes, Wayne Marshall is a sell out ever since he got the Order of Distinction Awards. Yes, he created the platform but not to help Reggae and Dancehall Music but to help keep rich people in power. Therefore, I don't trust his platform.

This is why we shouldn't just are jump to conclusions , they're so many bad views and speech towards Leon Bailey, and also valiant , I am more a church person but listening to Wayne interview with these two young men, it give me goose bump. Wayne did a brilliant job, I am in the UK and I am a m.u.t.d fans from I was in Jamaica and still is, but when my Jamaican playing for a team I always rooted for them, and I always follow Leon from when he was in Germany. I love what he's doing at Villa Park, and I which all the best for him in Europe, goals and assist plenty. Big up to the Jamaican platform. Jamaica and Jamaican are special. It’s a shame that the Jamaican football team is having issues with Bailey who works so well in Europe. They played a narrative as if he is a problem, but Jamaica is the problem. This man can’t leave his paying club to come play for two cents or no cents. He asked for certain things that he needs to be comfortable, give it to him. Bailey, stay where pays and value you and leave Jamaica team alone.
