Trading is slightly broken. I don’t really like it I feel it has its positives and negatives tho. But the car values are insanely broken. As someone who used to have beignet, it is not worth 25m (value last I checked) it is easy worth a lot, but the range should be closer from 5-10m. My point is that retired vehicles amount should increase at the same rate, I’d say 200k more in value per month. As far as I’m aware beignet, although a level 10 vehicle, meaning it couldn’t be bought, was around 500k. My math may be off but that would make its value around 6-7m today. A way more reasonable price for a car like itself.

Thanks for including my hot take. I think the main problem with the cop team is that they are not encouraged to work together as only 1 cop gets the bounty. Hot take: The CEO should be behind bars instead of being free. Why on earth would we grind 2 billion only to not have him go to prison back in April 2024.
1. the trading balancing system is completely useless now. it would better be removed. i have honestly lost multiple trades just because we havent been able to balance. and with changing values, there is no way to keep it up to date. 2. c4 are too overpowered. they completely prevent cops from entering most robberies and there is no way to counter them. 3. vip servers should be free until the anticheat is fixed. hackers are making the game unplayable. even as a criminal, autorobbers pop my tires, despite being on the same team. 4. the ability to switch servers through a portal in the trading hub should be free for everyone. especially being on oceania servers, i always teleport to the exact same server every single time i leave, go all the way to the boat and go back in (not many oceania servers). this made me basically have to buy trade vip to be able to access more than 1 server.
i have multiple hot takes: 1: 2020 - 2022 was probably the best time to play jailbreak imo, this is because, they added a lot of new robberies around that time, there were 2 amazing live events, some of the best winter updates were in this time, they remade the season system, rebalanced the game, nerfed the crim team, buffed the cop team, the biggest update was in this time, they added trading (even if i hate it) and they remade the airdrops to be more fun to do, and they added the first boss fight in jailbreak near the very end of 2022. 2: im okay with campers, but they are annoying when they camp the prison as if you arrest prisoners you prevent many criminals getting out and getting bounties and you just waste time if you get arrested in the prison, thats why i go for a drone and i take it back to the prison before i start grinding most of the time. 3: og jailbreak was worse than modern jailbreak for many reasons, 1, the crim team was too op and the cop team would be a waste of ur time as you would constantly get overpowered by cheaters, tryhards and glitchers. 2, there were not many robberies compared to now which made obtaining cash more tedious. 3, og jailbreak was too buggy, you were able to be faster than some cars by using a snowman avatar, if you hit a wall at a semi fast speed with some vehicles, you would just go flying, the train was too annoying to rob, and the volt bike was so buggy it was overpowered. 4, build quality was not as good compared to today (mainly just the buildings, vehicles and weapons, the rest is okay). now i understand that og jailbreak had a special place in our memories but it was really buggy and stuff and i disliked it (and i remembered why when og jailbreak was added as a LTM). 4: auto robbers, auto arresters and hackers are just making the game unplayable for both teams in 2024 and there has been no patches to fix these problems, and most of the auto robbers and auto arresters are just alt accounts or bots. 5: if a new cops and robbers game releases on roblox this year or in the coming years (to run with the hype and popularity of GTA VI), jailbreak will likely die, as alot of these newer games will probably have more mechanics and better gameplay, and will have bigger development teams that can push semi-big updates weekly. you can agree or disagree with me all you want as these are my opinions.

I think Torp Sucks and many cars that are cheaper outclass it ; Roadster, Volt, M12, Proto, Aperture, Javelin and many more, the reason its so expensive is because its artificially inflated.
I agree with the boss fight part like half the time the CEO just stands still within six feet from you which is... Awkward... Hw should get his fist or some melee with him wheneve he's not using his 2 attacks... There should also be some cutscenes in the fight, one for when he gets up close and stands still like a statue, and one where he regenerates.
Taser needs to be nerfed not removed. Taser can go through forcefields and you can be tased while you’re in a car or helicopter. I think the range on it should also be nerfed because it has monster range. I also think that the time you’re down should be reduced because the entire PvP system is you click on someone as cop, instantly win that fight, which isn’t fun as well because back then you could gun spam to kill someone within a second before they line up the shot but now it has that dumb cooldown between swapping weapons. Another thing that isn’t taser that should be nerfed is the soda as you just pop it and go a million miles an hour with the click of a button combined with the roll. I think the roll is alright it’s just that the lower the hp you have the slower and shorter distance you go. Also, updates in jailbreak don’t have to be 80 cars, 15 robberies, and all that stuff. All it needs is just small revamps and nerfs to the game that take 20 minutes to program could genuinely make the game astronomically better.
1. Seasons were one of the worst things that ever happened to the game cause after a while thats all they added, it makes you feel obligated to play and do something you dont wanna do and it overloaded the game with random cosmetics and cars. 2. Adding so many cars was a terrible idea cause half of them are useless or are there for traders, it was a lot better when it felt special that a car was added.
@ if im honest those 2 things partly ruined the game because after a while it just became doing the seasons and buying the car and not about the actual gameplay
Hot take: the small avatars that are used to make it difficult to taze and shoot should not be allowed and the hitboxes should be changed. They ruin the game and make it unfair.
2:54 I meant to say that about the community, because everyone was so heated back then, but I guess it’s a part of the video now, so I can’t do anything about it
Hot take: cars are too fast nowadays and can get everywhere extremely fast. Pro garage also should’ve never existed. transportation is too fast and you can cross “cities” in under 10 seconds
1) Bounty hunting is better than grinding as criminal 2) 2024 jailbreak is objectively a better game than 2018 jailbreak but 2018 was more fun just because of the nostalgia
A real hot take: 2022 live event update was one of the worst updates in jailbreak history’s, First of all lets talk about the elephant in the room, that being the map expansion which I think was a really bad decision because although we got a new city and robbery… that was kind of it the expansion felt so empty and you had no reason to go there besides the casino and oil rig… now I know having a bigger map is in theory good since you have a lot of space to do stuff in it but as of rn its so empty and makes the map feel weird because nobody ever goes there if the casino isnt open which means you have an entire section of the map that’s always alone and has nothing going for it if the casino isnt open which is terrible, because before the map expansion you always interacted with the players a lot of the time and the map never felt empty at all until this map expansion was added.. that was my main issue with the update but another thing I really dislike about it is the fact that it removed like 4 map locations and also removed a lot of the life that was on the map before. For example; they removed fire station, changed all of the 2019 map expansion for the worse because it removed everything but the power plant and airport(like the mini police station, beach houses, water ramps and jetpack island)and also they removed the 2020-2021 1m store which looked fantastic and it was replaced with the lifeless and boring 1m store we have today which absolutely sucks. Thats pretty much everything I disliked about it let me know your thoughts 💭
Hyperchromes weren't meant for grinding and were instead meant to be a little bonus reward you may get if you're lucky. While you could argue trading sensitised the 24/7 grind mentality for them, that's more the community's fault if anything.
@spottymaxy1628 understandable point and that’s how I personally feel about them, but I do think they were meant to be an extra grinding motivation for the most dedicated
On the lore take, even if Jailbreak isn't a game you go to for lore if you're going to try adding it to your game you need to do it well, cause if you just lazily throw something together it's a useless and dumb addition, whether or not that's the main appeal.
My biggest hot take is that the roadster is so much better than the proto, the proto is just an overpriced re-skin of the roadster, even though the proto is based off a real-life vehicle. The roadster is much more affordable and overall better in speed and launch.
Hot take: your device can change everything. every device has goods and cons for example im a console player and i think its very easy to no clip with emotes on console, BUT you cant chat so trading is a diffrent story. btw pc has no disadvantages and mobile has every disadvantage possible 💀💀.
2:44 this take is COMPLETELY wrong, since season 19 we have been getting lots of new winners lol? Anyways people arent even active in jbcreations much also but asimo is picking new creators even if the item isnt the best quality or design
Oh yeah I forgot, here's my hot take: People shouldn't pray that GTA will revive jailbreak GTA is on a complete different and comparing it to jailbreak is almost a joke. GTA has always been a crime game, while jailbreak's focus is now mostly about seasons, cosmetics, and vehicles. I'd say jailbreak's main appeal was a more simplified version and less mature version of GTA. If GTA does release now and the people who want to play it cant, and would like to resort to another crime game, theyll be faced with the current state of jailbreak (which isnt focused on the core gameplay,) whithin a few months of playing, theyll be ready to move on.
(Sorry for my yap session) Neatzo milked the “GTA will revive Jailbreak” thing way too much in late 2023-early 2024. Jailbreak nowadays is very stable and stays consistent with its player count, just because the popularity for the game went down over the years, doesn’t mean it’s dead, and I definitely agree with your points here, specifically the last one. If they can’t play GTA, they might go to roblox and find Jailbreak, but considering the current state of Jailbreak in terms of updates, which is literally one in 2-3 months and it’s just seasons and cars, they’re just gonna get bored bc they have nothing to look forward to and move on, so if anyone that will say that GTA 6 will “revive” Jailbreak and consider it “dead” because of the player count, you don’t deserve to have a spot in the Jailbreak community at all.
Alot of these takes arn't even hot takes, just criminal mains complaining about anything that gives cops a fair chance against criminals. They don't realise that without cops, the game is just a simulator. theres no reason to grind if theres no risk.
You said that the updates did not shift focus towards trading, strange cuz I think adding limited items, safe items that will eventually be limited at some point and more seasons with crappy battle pass stuff is already greatly shifting the goalpost of what these updates strive to achieve. I feel like you're greatly biased towards trading, and it's honestly a shame.
I would disagree cuz #1 those only became primary updates this year since the devs are scaling back updates and #2 those still appeal to main game players a lot. I am biased AGAINST trading, I don't trade at all and I exclusively play the main game, and I still don't really feel that the game is trying to appeal traders over main players
@@NoobFreak #1 Those were already starting to be the main stuff since summer 2022, especially with seasons starting even before that. Yes the complete shift of the focus was done in 2024, but even before then it was gaining more and more influence. Limited vehicles became more and more common after 2022, safe items are being retired, and to me since most of these don't serve that much purpose other than collectables, it's pretty obvious what they're going for. #2 By that standard you can call pretty much anything '''appealing''' to main game players. Oh look a useless spoiler with unnecessarily high quality animation, truly the bestest thing to happen to Roblox Jailbreak. And btw I said you seemed to favor trading, not that you're biased against it, which seems to be a weird thing since you don't even use trading. #3 I never said badimo ditched the main players just to please traders, but rather that they're catering more and more towards traders, which you can't deny is true to a certain degree. I don't entirely blame them either, after all it's easier to pump out collectables handmade for you than to tackle on the main game, but still
I just fundamentally disagree because I don’t think they really started doing more and more limiteds after trading, to me they kept being added to the game at a consistent pace compared to how they were before trading. And, even if limited were being done at a more frequent pace, I just don’t see how that is mainly to cater to traders since there is incentive to get limiteds if you play the main game and want to own everything. And the reason I said I was biased against trading was to respond to your criticism in your original comment that I was biased for trading. I keep bringing up my disinterest in trading to prove that I don’t feel less catered to. I only focus on the main game, and I feel the updates have consistently catered to my interests and haven’t pandered to traders more
@@NoobFreak if you view these updates as such, then it does explain why our perspectives and overall conclusions are different. I still have the same opinion, but it was nice talking.

Hot take for sure
@ if im honest those 2 things partly ruined the game because after a while it just became doing the seasons and buying the car and not about the actual gameplay
Hot take: 2024 was OVERALL the best year for VEHICLES. We got vehicles like the scorpion, iceborn, manta, wedge, and stormrider, which IMO are all Ws
Wow a hot take indeed
Hot take: the small avatars that are used to make it difficult to taze and shoot should not be allowed and the hitboxes should be changed. They ruin the game and make it unfair.
Will there be more hot take videos in the future?
If this does well and there’s enough demand
2:54 I meant to say that about the community, because everyone was so heated back then, but I guess it’s a part of the video now, so I can’t do anything about it
It’s alright I made sure to address that specifically
Hot take: cars are too fast nowadays and can get everywhere extremely fast. Pro garage also should’ve never existed. transportation is too fast and you can cross “cities” in under 10 seconds
Fair opinion
1) Bounty hunting is better than grinding as criminal
2) 2024 jailbreak is objectively a better game than 2018 jailbreak but 2018 was more fun just because of the nostalgia
4:04 hey i know that guy he's me
anyway the roll was made more fair because now you can roll backwards
True hot take
@@NoobFreak im not sure if anyone shares the same opinion as me
@@elwalden2946 I'm sure at least one person does!
The tazer is too op, has insane range and leaves you stunned for too long. One taze and it’s over for you.
Hyperchromes weren't meant for grinding and were instead meant to be a little bonus reward you may get if you're lucky. While you could argue trading sensitised the 24/7 grind mentality for them, that's more the community's fault if anything.
9:06
@spottymaxy1628 understandable point and that’s how I personally feel about them, but I do think they were meant to be an extra grinding motivation for the most dedicated
On the lore take, even if Jailbreak isn't a game you go to for lore if you're going to try adding it to your game you need to do it well, cause if you just lazily throw something together it's a useless and dumb addition, whether or not that's the main appeal.
That is a fair argument
cops should be able to enter almost all robberys so camping is eliminated
It won't since it's just easier to camp behind door and then arrest
My biggest hot take is that the roadster is so much better than the proto, the proto is just an overpriced re-skin of the roadster, even though the proto is based off a real-life vehicle. The roadster is much more affordable and overall better in speed and launch.
Yeah, true
I think i know who those first 2 are cuz i arrested a group of 3 without even getting below yellow
Hot Take: Jailbreak would be better if you couldn’t spawn cars.
Hot take: the rpg is the most annoying gun
Scorching hot one: the game gets way too boring way to quickly, ex once you finish the season there's almost no point to play the game
Hot take: how would Jailbreak look like without trading?
bro your alpine racer loadout is almost exactly the same as mine
It’s a dope skin for sure
the tap arrest being removed it awful. Playing cop on mobile is unplayable, and I'm not even exaggerating.
No it’s pretty easy for me but depending on the device it could be laggy and not work so I get it
Tap arrest was op, glad it's gone and I'm a mobile player
zawg mobile has a gigantic button you can hold for like half a second to arrest, it aint that bad
Hot take: Scorpion is a terrible vehichle. Also, Torpedo really does not look bad

soapbar my beloved
Hot take: your device can change everything. every device has goods and cons for example im a console player and i think its very easy to no clip with emotes on console, BUT you cant chat so trading is a diffrent story. btw pc has no disadvantages and mobile has every disadvantage possible 💀💀.
2:44 this take is COMPLETELY wrong, since season 19 we have been getting lots of new winners lol? Anyways people arent even active in jbcreations much also but asimo is picking new creators even if the item isnt the best quality or design
WSP noob
hot take: javilin in over priced
Oh yeah I forgot, here's my hot take:
People shouldn't pray that GTA will revive jailbreak
GTA is on a complete different and comparing it to jailbreak is almost a joke.
Hot chocolate hot takes 😋🥶
The taser is WAY To op the reload time if you don't hit someone is 4 seconds or sum like what?
hot take: jailbreak sucks cuz the hackers and is currently not worth playing
@ thanks for sharing your perspective, I understand why you see the updates this way as well
