Always loved this band, part of the soundtrack of my life. I was blessed to have grown up during a time when there was so much raw talent. John Fogerty is still putting out some awesome music. I remember instead of singing "there is a bad moon on the rise", we would sing "there is a bathroom on the right". To this day, I still find myself using those lyrics.
Try out their rendition of I Heard It Through the Grapevine. It's awesome! Another stupendous and wondrous band called The Band. There's a reason they call them THE BAND. Martin Scorsese made a documentary movie about their last concert called The Last Waltz. Might want to start with their The Weight or The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down.
This was my youth! CCR was very popular here ìn Germany. I even went to a concert the gave in Frankfurt around 1973, as a lot of American Military were stationed here.
You should check out Jeff healey, see the light, night music 88. Cancer took his eyes at age one. At age three he was given his first guitar and learned to play it on his lap. He's played with some of the best. He passed away at age 41. But damn he can shred a guitar. You'll be more than amazed
