Ok Cantina, here's the deal. I spent probably 10 hours recording my own oblivion video only to lose motivation and lose the footage eventually. The video was reviewing every inn and pub in Cyrodiil. If anyone can do it justice, it's YOU! God speed my friend
Between you and MickyD, i love how much coverage this mod is getting! It seems really well done and I just reinstalled Oblivion to play through some questline mods myself!
Elements of this dungeon remind me of Adense Epic Dungeon, which itself makes me feel like such an old man. Looked it up to see that the last update to it was in 2011. Crazy to think Oblivion will be 20 in 3 years and it's still so fun.
On the topic of black licorice, try "Sweet Black Katze" licorice. They're shaped like cats and come from Sweden, Germany, or Denmark; they sell them at World Market for a couple bucks. Good black licorice changes your perspective on the stuff; US made black licorice is nasty, stuff from those countries and likeky others tends to be really good. (Fair warning: avoid double salt licorice. My god, so salty its almost inedible. Taste is weirdly pleasant in a horribly painfully salty way)
I am really intimidated by installing Oblivion mods for the first time. It seems Oblivion was left behind a bit as far as installing mods compared to all the other Beth games. Even in Morrowind these days its easier. Do you have any tips or suggested guides
It's mostly the same as other Bethesda games. Like you said Oblivion's mods are far more dated. You really just have to pick an overhaul like Oscuro's OO (OOO), Maskar's OO (MOO), FCOM (Really big wouldn't recommend for a new player), and there's a couple others. I personally like OOO just make sure to turn difficulty down in the game settings when you start. If you get OOO and other mods make sure that when you run LOOT in MO2 to check what it says. It'll tell you if you need to install patches and usually link to them or say if they're on the mod page. If you're new to Oblivion in general just get Oblivion Character Overhaul, HGEC, Robert's Male Body Replacer. Get their requirements listed in the mod page. Some mods are so old that you actually have to read the description to get the links. The only thing I've experienced that's weird is when I have to install Oblivion Script Extender Plugins (xOBSE) plugins manually (Like, Blockhead for Oblivion Character Overhaul). I think there's a slight issue in MO2 with how it handles OBSE plugins. Basically, when I install OBSE plugins w/ MO2 it won't actually have them in use when I launch the game. I haven't bothered googling how to fix it so I just manually install them. I also had to install NorthernUI manually to get it to work. You'll know if a mod is an OBSE plugin bc the mod description will usually say it or the mod's files will just have /OBSE/plugin/ and not any esp's or meshes usually. If they do have meshes and textures just install them manually too. EIther way google the issue or see if you don't have this is issue with OBSE plugins in MO2. There are tools/Utility mods, I'll just list them, you can find text and video guides. TES4LODGEN, Wrye Bash, TES4Edit/XEdit, Oblivion stutter remover, oblivion engine bug fix, xOBSE, UOP, USIP, Oblivion 4 GB Patch, One Tweak. Ultimately, start small install really basic mods. Look around on the nexus for what you might like. Make sure to read the comments of mods, the mod page, readmes, and google your problems. Feel free to use the console on a test character to make sure the mod isn't buggy.
@@Kevin-zv6ds Congrats for TH-cam keeping your comments. I tried to help here with comment before you two times. And each time my comments got removed! I dont even understand why, as they got nothing offensive in them. If even this comment will get removed I give up with commenting on TH-cam at all...
Hey, do you happen to know Zizaran? Because you sound very zimilar to him, when screaming, yelling and stuff. Or is just the same acting school you both went for?
