iMovie is the default editing app that comes with every Mac.
And with iMovie, you get Hollywood style trailers. These trailer templates are easy to use and help you get started with iMovie right away.

To create a trailer in iMovie, simply press create new and choose the trailer option. You can watch a preview of any trailers you see before creating a project based on that trailer.
Once you have the project created, you can drop in video clips, change the text, and add your own voice or music.
Your projects are organized in outline and storyboard and shot list. You can change all the things you see here like naming your film, adding credits, changing the shots in the storyboard, and so on.
Once you are done, you can share the video as a file or on TH-cam or Facebook, or any other video platform.
We'll cover all this during this tutorial.

Wow. Am i impressed. Well produced. Simply explained. And great live examples. This is a terrific site. I've been practicing channel development. And thought I knew iMovie well. Since I do have a software application background. But this is one grea example of how to teach. If you dont mind a suggestion: My concern with 'iTrailor is to use a an SEO tool. And you gave great insights. I would love to see or know if you have a video explaining how to incorp Long tail vs Short tail for increased views. thanks very much

I created a trailer and shared it to Facebook, but my video was blocked by Sony Music Entertainments because they owned the pre-selected music in the trailer. How do I get around this? Also, it saved automatically as an mp4 file. Can this be changed?

I know how, go to customise the trailer, click on the music you have used, go down to volume and set the volume to what you’d prefer

That’s a good question. I’m not 100% sure off hand. I always use music I purchase just to be safe. I’ll have to look into it

Hi, a query. How to move out of trailer to movie. I have accidentally clicked on trailers whereas I wanted to go to movie however unable to find option to go back. Pls help 🙏🏻

Yes, I think so, because they are have provided that as a part of creative commons. still better to check though. i have made 3 trailers using their music

I don't want to be one of those people that heavily support a brand but the iPhone 12 Pro max not just the 12 pro but the pro max is one of the most advanced cell phones with cameras ever made. If you buy it for yourself do not buy the 12 Pro spend the extra $100 and buy the pro Max, you get about four or five hundred dollars more phone for the money

Is there a way to use these resources outside of these templates? Having to use their laid out crap is annoying and the fact that these transitions, effects, etc. aren't in the normal video making part is ridiculous.
No sadly these are very limited
@@Howfinity I figured as much. I'm new to Mac, but using PC most of my life I'd think you could just rip the assets out of the files they're in, but the file system on Mac is just sooo... Well, it's crap.
