    JetEngine and other Crocoblock plugins with Bricks builder. Since Crocoblocks was originally developed with Elementor and later Gutenberg in mind and only recently started to integrate with Bricks builder - I’d love to see how far the Crocoblocks platform integrates with Bricks and at which points do they not.

    Thanks for this video Paul. I am preparing to rebuild a few sites and was beginning to research replacing Jet Engine + other Crocobloc tools with Metabox because I wasn't sure how well the applications would work with Bricks, ACSS, and Frames. Your video gives me confidence that I can proceed without spending $$$$ for another suite of tools. Thanks for this timely content.

    Great video as always! I'd love to get familiar with some of the more advanced features such as post relations and see if bricks could live up to the expectations that Elementor has made. I really prefer Bricks (because of its better user experience) but I wanna make sure I'm not missing out any functionality.
    By the way, I'm 24 years old and from Iran. You have no idea how much of an influence you've been on my career in the very difficult economic situation of my country. Many thanks.
    Wish you the best of luck.

    Paul, I would suggest repeating the tutorial in ACF’s new version, then compare a speed test to both.
    Bricks is know for speed and I think it’s important when comparing additional tools, they do not add too much bloat.

    i watched your clips about jet engine and they are really nice and I learned a lot.
    still i have some questions which are not covered in your clips and I really like to learn them:
    1. I want to use table builder and i want to have "edit" and "delete" button for each row. how should I do it?
    2. my second question:
    for example CCT1 has two fields: Name and ID
    I store ID of CCT1 in CCT2
    now i want to have a listing grid for cct2,
    but instead of the ID of CCT1 I want to display the title from CCT1
    I really appreciate if you can explain about above questions. i searched all the clips in TH-cam and Crocoblock but still couldn't find the answer to the above questions.
    thanks in advanced

  • @Quantos-w7o

    Hey Paul - is this now out of date, as of July 14th 2024? I can't get this to work at all with the lastest version of Bricks (1.9.9) or JetSmartFilters (3.5.0). Initially I was trying to apply smartfilters to native Bricks dynamic data and JetEngine custom post types (instead of using JetEngine dynamic image field widgets and standard posts). I then switched to follow the tutorial exactly (using JetEngine dyanmic field widgets + native Posts) but in every case the filter does not recognise that there are is any related data in the filter, which I can see by enabling the 'show counter' option withing the Checkbox Filter - which shows as '0'. In all cases both the CPTs and the Posts had relevant taxonomy data applied to the posts. I'm using a standard page to 'host' the query loop + smartfilters and I've treid with Query ID applied and left blank (as per your tutorial) but nothing seems to get the correct filter data into the filter. I'll see if I can find some more tutorials on this and will update this comment here - but I feel there must be a step or a setting that I'm missing that I can't get from the video...

    • @Quantos-w7o
      @Quantos-w7o 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ignore this comment... although what I found out was that I had another bricks query loop running in the footer which prevent the main page content query from running for reasons I haven't had time to test yet, but will later...

    • @Quantos-w7o
      @Quantos-w7o 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      And have now realised that if there are two query loops on the page, you simply have to add a Query ID to both the Query Loop itself (and not the 'card'/div) as well as the filter/apply filter widget. I should have spotted that before - so all good and works as per your demo Paul. thanks.

Is there anything extra to be done for filtering in the product archive?
