    Superb, this is bookmarked, me shooting a video now that would be a first, well apart from my mobile. Cheers Dan.

      Hey Iain! Thanks for your feedback. We can all learn new tricks, can't we?! 😀 I started with mobile, and gradually dip my toes further into the pool with my Fujis each year. Like everything else, it's just a learning process.

    I'm pleased that this video came up on my feed this morning. I'm still in my Nightshirts having just purchased your Book following , watching the video . I recently purchased the Fuji XH2. I have for quite some time used my XPro1 and Xpro3 for street. I can say that I know nothing about Video. And yes, I have gone down the rabbit hole so to speak and rigged the camera out with a frame and other Small Rig items and it looks far more expensive than the Camera on it's own. Now down to that first attempt at a video. And I thought it was a minefield! This book give a clearer picture for me to enlist in my beginning to make my first video. Wish me luck! Many Thanks.

      Awesome, glad it was helpful, Ian! And, thanks for purchasing my book! It can certainly be intimidating to get started with video, so let me know how your first attempt goes. Here's the first video I shot with my SmallRig cage and handle when I got it last year: th-cam.com/video/xe3qq87t0Mg/w-d-xo.html

      @@DanBaileyPhoto my favourite prime is the xf33mm because it’s versatile focal length and my favourite zoom is the xf16-55mm and my favourite gf lens is 80mm f1.7 these lenses are the most used in my kit but it all depends what I’m shooting I also love my xf80 macro and the 50-140 too .

      I haven't used the XF33mm, but one of my favorites is the XF35mm f/2, which is similar. Great lens and very versatile for a wide range of subject matter. I also have the 90mm, which I LOVE, and obviously close to the 80mm.

      @@DanBaileyPhoto Yes on the XT30 and now on the XT3, I mainly use it for pictures, but nothing beats a family video with kids goofing around. I also love your X Series Unlimited, especially since the update, very, very useful. I simply love the Fuji colours and the look their primes give to my pictures. Since I started using them my pics have gotten much better. I use them mainly for landscapes and portraits, but I know the XT3 is great for video as well and I want to try it out. Please keep up your great work, much appreciated!

      Dirk, thanks so much for your feedback! Glad to hear that you're enjoying your two Fuji cameras. Yes, definitely try out the X-T3 for video, it's an incredibly capable camera for that. Let me know if you have any questions beyond the topics discussed in this video.

    Hi Dan what is your thought of the 100-400xf as a maincam in a concert - lowlights

    • @DanBaileyPhoto
      @DanBaileyPhoto  ปีที่แล้ว

      The 100-400 will certainly give you good reach, and I don't think that the low light situation would matter all that much. The performers will be lit with spotlight, and you can always crank the I SO dial up a little bit, so I think you'll get good results. Hope that helps, which Fuji camera are you using?

      @@DanBaileyPhoto Im using xt3 and the xh2. I was able to use 70-300 at 1080p and it gave me crisp footage. Thank you for the tip😎❤️♥️
