Presented by Katie Miles the owner of All Eyes On You, a modern unisex beauty salon in Stockport. Katie also lectures in Beauty Therapy at Stockport College and has many years experience in both teaching and giving a wide range of salon procedures.

I was trained in pedicure back when clients demanded real professionalism. What I like best about this video is the massage techniques that Katie uses. They are wonderful, sophisticated movements that absolutely anyone would love having performed on them. One teeny thing she did not mention is to keep at least one hand on the client at all times during massage, as moving it off or on is disruptive to the sense of peace that is felt while having massage. Katie did this, but did not mention it, and I find it important. Lovely pedicure, Katie, I would love to have you do mine!!!
Katie is great she taught me as a mature student and I now work in London in a Top Hotel Spa The Carlton Tower and even now I have watched this and will use her routine in my repertoire

Easy steps, she followed protocol procedures from the Milady book and it was lovely to enjoy. Although people recommend her dialing the feet first it’s not always the case. Different salons have their own ways but it is recommended to put them inside the basin before pushing back the cuticles so they soften.

Thank you for this video, i have just trained as a nail technician but we did not cover pedicures, so glad you did it step by step, it was exactly the same as my manicure training so will be easy to remember.
Uh oh. Id be worried if my nail tech school didn’t teach me how to do a professional pedicure. Just curious. Did they ever teach you? Not trying to be mean just surprised a nail school wouldn’t cover toes. When I go to local nail salons they all have licenses and do both manicure and pedicure.

Hi i know this video is old but i just came across it and i only want to give you a few tips..
1. Wear gloves!
2. Cut and file nails BEFORE wetting feet to avoid flexible nails to chip.
3. After cutting then leave in water for a bit THEN remove cuticle so it’ softens and can be easily removed efficiently.
I like filing heels while it is wet but that’s only a personal preference of mine..
Gloves are not required too be worn!

It is so relext excies and i like much to all step. I am learning menicure style which use it in uk so i can teach from according to this viedo whenever i will come there so easily i can do it.
This is a great pedicure procedure to follow, I feel it's complete with some massage and foot scrub. I'll do that overall with my sister to try and I'll be happy if this kind of steps will be done for me.

Very Professional Very Informative My 8 year old Grand Daughter cut my hair for me, I have very short hair she used a one on the clippers but remember she is 8 She applied proper pressure cut straight a good cut I must say, So I am going to teach her how to do this I used to give my wife peds so I thought I had the idea but I was way off. Sorry I need to ask a question, we were always told not to file back and forward when it comes to natural nails as this would cause breakage, is that true pls ? pls reply
Olubode Olugbenga Yes it is true it causes the nail to split.
Lol not true. That’s a myth. What you do have to be careful of is the grit you use to file nails. Always try to file the nails before you soak. them, and never use anything under 180 grit for the hands, and nothing below 100 grit for the toes. Also no need to be aggressive either, let the grit of your file do the work

Schonbek Glazer I used to only go to walk in places. I got an ingrown toenail. It was so painful. I was at a conference and went to the hotel spa. The technician explained to me that it is all about how the nail is cut. She cut it straight across for me. She told me not to cut it until it grows out. The ingrown nail is gone. Salon quality really makes a difference
