This channel is what happens when you don't try to sell anything to anyone, but the person is so smart, you're so shocked, you end up asking to buy everything...

In a recent video, you said your demographic was aged 35-36. However, I'm 63. I lived in Ukraine and became a refugee. Your show and presenting talent have re-inspired me. Thanks for the content uploads.

I'm 36, still in the process of rebuilding my life after a 2week coma due to extensive brain damage. Challenging but grateful to start over again. I now know what I don't want to be. Living a life with a purpose now. Glad that I have found your channel months ago while I was on a treadmill. I'm happy with your success, Dan

This channel is exactly what I needed. The perfect blend of business and spirituality, and a new take on what business means. At a time were I'm consolidating my sporadic business and lifestyle ideas into something more defined, this is highly motivating.

To everyone who has started or is thinking of starting their own business: *Believe in yourself and never give up.* If you can work 8 hours for someone else. You can work 2 hours for yourself.

Hey Dan, I recently found your channel. I did the 7 days to genius. I am grateful I found your work. It really helped funnel my curiosity, desires, and purpose, into a useable way to create an autonomous career. I was a licensed counselor for 13 years helping parents through their child rearing process. I burnt out from the grind. This method is something I think is so much more sustainable. My desire to help has never changed, but now I have a way to express my ideas, while also setting myself up for monetization. I realize it is a slow burning candle to grow a business on TH-cam. But I have set a recording schedule, and will be sticking close to your channel to grow along side you brother. Thanks so much!

As someone who is a younger self-improvement TH-camr, I find this extremely interesting. Creating a business really is about following your passions / curiosity, while also taking the leap of faith to change and challenge your perspectives on what you’re tight in life. Curiosity is really the catalyst to destroying limiting beliefs!

I've always told people, "I'm a creative" when they ask about my career. somehow it seems to resonate with a lot of people (who are probably also "creatives") and anyone who doesn't seem to get it at first understands after I tell them, "I solve problems for a living."
I love how you've been able to articulate this convergence in industry. "to return to source" in a personal business perspective without seeming like another _one of thoose_ folks 😆 you definitely figured it out, translating "the trip" into plain English lol and you remind me that, just because I may have heard something from someone else, doesn't mean I don't have a voice to share that wisdom too, and that it's actually my righteous duty as a living person here now to use my voice! haha

Here's the math for your affiliate example:
    Revenue: 50 conversions x $50 revenue share = $2,500
    Cost: $25 x 4 influencers = $100
    Profit: $2,500 - $100 = *$2,400*
For the other example involving influencers and others sharing:
    1.0 Million Impressions
    x 30% view Offer = 300k views
    300k views x 5% click rate = 15k clicks
    15k clicks x 5% conversion = 750 sales
    750 sales x $50 = *$37,500 Revenue*

I decided to write a comment which isn't typical for me, because of the depth and scope of the value you created for me in my very early start as a creator. I believe it's a way to give back in the form of not only gratitude but letting you know that from where I'm standing you have put me waaay ahead of the game. I've bought courses on how to start an online business as a creator in the past, and though they served their purpose and had their value, your objective, and applicable format gave me the clarity and confidence to apply these lessons and tools. Thank you! Thank you!
Just thought you ought to know you are an instrument to a shift governed by those who seek to make a difference.

  • @kristyboxx

Many things I learned, realised or made the connections between thanks to this video and the refreshing and direct way Dan explains stuff. What really hit me though was that comment about "when you read something interesting, don’t highlight (or rewrite it to your little notebook as I always do) but rather write the shit in your own words by recalling it from your memory."
For the longest time I was kinda complaining to myself that I lack creativity when it comes to ideas for writing etc. well no shit as I always write stuff down exactly as people said it, never in the way I understand it or what I’ve learned and taken from that comment or idea.
So from now on, I will apply more of this and I am pretty sure it will lead me to open up my creativity in this area immensely.
    Thank you Dan! You rock!

  • @ilmaux

What you are teaching in this video is very valuable. It took me years to learn this things and arrive on this conclusions. I hope everyone watching this video are able to absorb and start practicing.
It took me almost 3 years of blogging and I failed it. But then it only took me 6 months to start it over in the right way and make money out of it while sleeping. Failure is part of the process and if you don't start trying you won't start to fail, if you don't fail you don't learn. If you don't learn you don't succeed. If I could give only one advice to anyone it would be: Don't be afraid of failure, but make sure to fail small and early in your process.

    You conflate yourself and brand.
Brand is the overall how you get customers and build trust, comfort, and connection.
Niching down allows to targeting of specific avatar and supply them with the prerequisites for purposes.
    You've branded yourself. That's a route and I applaud what you've accomplished.

I wanted to respond to this video and first off say I'm impressed with your intelligence and your ability to share your thoughts so open source. But you sir, what you do is educate and inspire people! Next time someone asks you what you do, think and ask your self this, how am I making the world a better place/experience and then simply answer, I educate and inspire people!! Sure you can elaborate way more in depth about what it is that you do and you absolutely should when someone asks you to do that ;) Blessed to have found your videos and you brother, keep it up!! I just wished for a carrier or a craft i would fall in love. And i found that surprisingly. It just starts with asking something from yourself from a higher perspective. And then you give it back to yourself what you asked for. Universe has strange dynamics.

Curated content, how other people did it and how I'm going to do it. This 🎯
Just found your channel and it's like you're speaking straight from my SOUL! idk if I just joined a cult, or if I wanna be you when I grow up lol. Thanks for the amazing content!!

I think in Tools of titans I read a qoute that changed how I see things. Very successful person said that he did not feel successful because he did not do XYZ. Happiness and success is perception. 🤷

Wow. Just wow. This is like the Yin to Iman Gatzi's Yang. Like I bought his agency accelerator course (1.5k) and what you are saying is making things so much clearer. it's like you guys have the same vocabulary but you just explained something clearer than he did. I'm going to start doing your writing course it probably has more value to me right now. Thanks Dan

I love that you're not going to "niche down". That message alone is why I really love your content. I don't wish to limit myself to a niche either. You have a fabulous newsletter with useful and compelling information. Very impressive! I'm glad to have stumbled upon your message/channel.

37 years old. Military veteran. Divorced. In shape. Electrical engineer making 90k a year. Not much FOMO let in me other than finding a cause worth devoting the rest of my life to that feels impactful.

    Here's a summary:
    1. It's all traffic and offers
Have the right people watching and build a good product to offer.
    2. Need 3 Levers
    >Growth lever- keep posting engaging content and growing your audience.
    >Nurture lever- educate the audience towards your interests and the problem you solve.
    >Monetization lever- keep promoting your offer regularly. have a systemized promotion shedule.
    3. Question Everything
Dont make peoples advice your laws.
break away from the limiting beliefs especially about business. do you!
for eg on niching down, dont niche down rather go broad but sell on something specific.
    4.Deconstruct everything
deconstructing complex topics or anything is the key to creativity. a whole into its different pieces and turn it into something new. connect the dots from your learnings from your different interests.
    5. Dont quit Pivot
in the pursuit of your goal it is okay to pivot along the way. it is unique to you. you are allowed to start over with a better knowledge bank. dont worry its not shiny object syndrome.
    6. copy your way to success: steal like an artist
we all are the product of or an unequal proportionate mixture of everything around us from the time we were born till now. Use it your advantage, see good things around your interest, interpret the way you do adopt it and create something with it.
    7. Most profitable niche is you
It is the age of authenticity. get ahead of the curve by productizing yourself. get paid for what you enjoy doing. make your life goals your brand.
    8. Self-awareness is key
marketing is just applied psycholgy. you can learn that by observing your own actions and reactions to stuff and deconstructing it down to why it happened. implement what you learned in your content.
    9. Start then learn
dont let knowledge outpace your execution.
build something on side while you gain knowledge. a project to add to what you consume.
    10. Create your own career
own career is not something that can be taught to anyone. you are not replacable in your career.
you do that by following your inrersts. following what works in your own way. continue doing it iterate and continue till it something that you can call your own niche.
a sum of all your interests ; your own category.
    11. Lack of experience is not an excuse
it is a limiting belief that stops you from starting but only when you start you will gain experience.
dont let your mind scare you in not pursuing the thing you want.
    think bigger picture.
    Loved it, Dan
    xx Thanks xx
