2 months ago I wanted to rebuild my carburetor for spring. I went to buy th4 rebuolild kit and wa happy that they were cheap. $20 seemed like a great price. Then I stumbled into a brand new OEM carburetor for $22 and it came with all the gaskets. It took me 15 minutes and my trimmer was running as good as new. Sadly we live in a disposable world but I saved a lot of time. A lot of time.

Your tip about pressing the primer ball to determine which hose goes where was a real lifesaver. It seemed so obvious when you said it but I must admit that I might not have thought of it myself any time soon :) Great video in every way. Thank you for sharing.

    10/10 best rebuild video ever.
Now if you could do the low an high mixture screws adjustment with that detail...
    Thanks

Awesome video. Just finished my first ever carb rebuild / clean. Took me about 40 mins and had to rewatch the bit with the pin and spring. Seems to be working better than ever now and couldn't have done it without this video. Echo GT-200R. All my gaskets were pretty good so I just cleaned it and put all the parts back together. Went from not starting at all to running awesome.

I gave a question about the diaphragm side. At the top of the diaphragm side you see what seems to be a black rubber piece that is flush with the surface. Mine had something sticking out of there like debris. Do you know what that is? Great video

Does it matter if the yellow hose is opposite that yours? I guess my clear fuel line is on the other nozzle and the black on is on the fuel nozzle.

Tip: if you're going to completely disassemble and clean/rebuild the carburetor, install a new primer bulb. They're not that expensive and it's preventative maintenance.

The part number yields results for a kit that does not contain an O-ring... but i believe you re-used the O-ring in this video as it looks 'wet' upon replacement.

Don't use compressed air or spray. I just ruined the check valves in the carb body. Thanks buddy. :( >

I noticed a small brass screw in the side of my throttle body (the grey chunky thing). You did not address this at all and your appears to be sticking out much further than mine. Also it appears to lead to a small black plug which probably has something inside. So what about this part. Also you mentioned the temptation to use a piece of metal to clean out the ports and suggested a piece of fishing line, instead but you didn't elaborate on which holes you were referring to that might need to be cleaned out this way.
One suggestion is that you edit the video and tell people that you like to lay your parts out in the order they were disassembled at the beginning of the video.
