Legwear: Sinkers for plain, terry or sandwich-terry structures

The animation shows the different knitting components in a section of a sock machine.
As the camera zooms in, the individual points of contact of the system parts interacting with each other are highlighted. Next, we see the interaction between needle and sinker. Finally, three different kinds of sinker (plain, terry, sandwich terry) are presented. Depending on which sinker is used, the knitted fabric will have a different structure.
