The Volunteers are currently making the rounds on their 2024 North America Tour! This stop was in Anaheim, California, where the band is supporting their newly released EP, "L."
Jonny, Chiheon, Seungjin(rockjiny), and the ever so lovely Yerin Baek gave their fans a dose of their alternative rock treatment! "Psycho," "Tell'em boys," and "L" really stood out from their new releases. I was especially looking forward to "L"s emotional Beatle-esque tune with their live arrangements. As well as their classic grunge rock anthems!
Be sure to catch them when they get to a town near you. This talented band rocks! Yerin's shy yet adorable personality, fire red orange pigtails, cool Flying V guitar, and beautiful angelic vocals were on display, and it sure made for a beautiful Sunday evening!

Thanks very much for posting this excellent recording, as I don't know if I will ever get the chance to see them live in the UK. One thing that I must point out is that isn't Cloud on the bass. When the tour was announced his face was missing from the picture, and he doesn't appear in the "L" MV. However, I can't find any info about what caused his departure.
You're welcome! I'm glad you can enjoy the video. It's one of the reasons why I post them in the first place. Not everyone gets the opportunity to see their favorite artists live for whatever reason and I like to promote the band and give fans a chance to see the live show.
Thank you for bringing up the Cloud situation. I did some research and I found the updated information on the new bass player. His name is Seungjin Lee. It looks like his other band is 24HOURS(I like their sound). I really like him! He jams! I love his energy!
@@asian.pop.footage Thanks very much for letting me know. He certainly seems to fit right in, and I will check out his other band. Maybe he is only a temporary replacement, but time will tell!
@@Moodiac67 We shall see. I found myself listening to 24HOURS and now I want to see them live. lol. Not sure if they are technically still together, but they have some really good songs.
@@asian.pop.footage I also liked the MV I watched and noticed that the lead guitarist was Memi, who was previously in the band Seoulmoon with Luli Lee, who herself was the bass player in Bye Bye Badman, which also featured Jonny on guitar and Cloud on keyboards. There is even fancam footage of them playing three songs with Yerin on guest vocals! What a small world!!

I bet early Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian were just a couple of influences of theirs.
Ohhh so for the concert, I thought Yerin will sing some of her songs as well. It is just the volunteers song at the concert?
Yes. This was an all Volunteers show. People would shout out names of her solo songs, but they remained focused on the Volunteers songs.

Is video shooting allowed there?? I am korean😂
I was able to with no issues. I would make sure you verify at the venue you see them at to be certain it is allowed. I know different countries and venues can have their own rules about it.
Was it on a first-come, first-served basis when entering the standing area?
For this show it was. The venue did offer an early entry fee $20 I think? To get in a bit earlier than the general line. Maybe a half-hour earlier to maybe get merch early and stake a spot on the floor.
Oh, I see. Thank you. Wasn't it hard to issue online tickets because there were so many people?
@@파하하-s1o It was easy for me. They were all general admission tickets through Live Nation/Ticketmaster. I bought the early entry pass to get in early and that was it. There was already a GA line formed outside, so that is first-come/first-serve, but there was also another line for early entry.

Thanks for posting this! I was at their performance in Toronto. Do you think you have a recording or know the pre-show music? There was one track I can't remember the name of, played right before the came on stage
@lucarutigliano8585 You're welcome! I'll check to see if I recorded anything right before they started. I do recall liking a lot of the songs that were being played before the show.
The only tidbit of music that I could find was the recording of is their instrumental intro music.
