Is the Movado BOLD Quest worth your time? How does it compare to the Tissot PRX?

The Movado losses this battle due to water resistance and higher price. Nonetheless, I have to get both of these Swiss legends.

Movado has better color combinations and it’s just a better looking watch overall, just my opinion.

Between these two offerings it would have to be the Tissot! As you say, lume, water resistant and an overall nicer looking finish. Add in that its also cheaper and theres no contest!

I had not thought about Movado in years but Movado and its museum dial design was once the height of mass market fashion. I have to admit I almost purchased an automatic Movado before purchasing the first Powermatic 80 time-only Tissot PRC 200 as my first mechanical watch. In hindsight, the decision steered me down the right rabbit hole from which I have no intention to escape.

I have the Movado with the green face. I only paid 485 for it. I got a deal. The guy wanted like 600 but I got a deal on it for 485

It’s a matter of opinion, so choose the brand that makes you happiest. Movado seems more fashion than function. For me, the Tissot is a better value from a brand I consider more reputable.

At this point too many people own the PRX. It’s kind of lame now. Same thing is about to happen with the Citizen T. I will pay a bit more for the MOVADO just because I won’t see everyone with my same watch on.

The REAL question here is not able to be answered right away.... how would each watch look after a year on the wrist? Is Movado built as well, using similar materials or is it just an overpriced but good looking watch???
If your eyes are closed and you had each in your hands, would you FEEL the difference???
