This game introduced me to the Castlevania franchise and hearing this song turned into a remix is just outstanding and beautiful, I legit wanna cry cause of the fond memories that are flowing back listening to this🥲💯✨

I remember that I used to hate this track because that area is so backtrack heavy and I was tired of listening to it. Nowadays I love that track because of the nostalgia
Fantastic. For all it's famous and wonderful music, the CotM version of The Sinking Old Sanctuary may very well be my favorite Castlevania track. It's not too aggressive or too passive, not too dramatic or underscored, just balanced perfectly to me, and I love what you did with this.
I think you hit the nail on the head - I also thought that the 64 and Bloodlines versions of the song are too, I dunno, somber and dramatic, which is why I like the CotM one way more. And thanks!

I've always loved this song. Especially the CotM version. The added parts to it and the increased length make it feel more like a complete song and it sounds way less repetitive than the Bloodlines version.
when i heard this remix back in Circle of the moon i was so really amazed on how much pretty this song sound and with those clean, marble areas "audience Room" i really liked how the music fit with that area. then the CoTM become my second favorite, i still not gonna lie that i like more the Legacy of Darkness version, art tower with such beutiful song was really a pleasure to play, music should always fit with the ambience of the area and thats why i like castlevania. despite of that, more Circle of the moon remixe its always welcome, and specially of this area, my second favoriton song from CoTM its Royal chapel, followed by Aquarius. thanks for a pretty good remix.

I didn't use any of the original GBA samples in this song, so I didn't have to rip anything. This was quite a while ago so I don't really remember what plugins I used here, but I know that a bunch of them were the DSK free VSTs you could find online (since I was only starting out).
@@QwertyGuy499 I mean less space sonically, less reverb or whatever you have used. So that it would sound more accurate(not look). For example, in the fast part(1:22-1:30) I can barely hear the difference between the notes from the bass. I'm not an expert tough, this is all based on my personal taste. Ty for replying.
I appreciate the criticism! It's not often that I actually get some constructive advice like this! You say that you're not an expert, but you actually raise a very valid concern relating to mixing and production, which I definitely was pretty bad at when I made this. Listening back now, I definitely agree with the bass being too "spacious" and reverby. Hopefully, you can hear some noticeable improvement in the more recent things I've uploaded!
I like this song, but I don't like that it plays in like 40-50% or the castle. It's also plays in the areas that you have to traverse to get to everything else in so... it gets played too much. Harmony of Dissonance has the same problem with 1 or 2 of their songs.
The Bloodlines version is definitely a very different beast from this one - both are good in their own ways, IMO! Bloodlines is more atmospheric and dramatic, whereas this one is more relaxed and adventurous.

Way to ruin a classic video game song. Bloodlines was way better than the monstrosity. I hope the CoTM looks as cartoonish as this sounds
