    Great video. I have a question. On modern Forms, person dropbox doesn't work properly. I want to have ability to assign an owner to a "ticket". In the classic look, combo box looks fine and I can just choose one of the users in our company, but when i use the modern variant i just get 4-5 digit numbers instead name and surname. Is there a way to fix this?

    • @toluvictor
      @toluvictor  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi. For most of the modern controls, if you're seeing those 4-5 digit numbers, just make sure to add the field you want to show in the control and make it top of the list. This is similar to how the classic form control works where you need to add a field for it to show in the form

    Hi Tolu,
    Can you make a form for uploading new candidate details while applying for a Job by using this all Required field which is taken from 2-3 tables with Attached resume, Image, State ID name and number, Total exp, relevant exp, last working days, Name , Number, Email, Location, Preferred location, Job Role, Job ID(lookup col), Skill ID(lookup col), Skill Name, Role Name, Current Organization, Current CTC, Expected CTC
    Thank you

    I use a custom made gallery to generate forms instead of forms

    • @toluvictor
      @toluvictor  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's cool. That would be a great approach for dynamic forms

    • @matthewv4170
      @matthewv4170 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@toluvictor yes you can have date pickers etc to add dynamically and can have custom elements depending on table properties. You can also let you end user edit the forms themselves

    Man if you are new to Power Apps you are too late. Modern Controls were created for all new users to make apps easy until Co-Pilot doesn't need you and will make the apps itself. If you are a glutton for punishment and want to "catch up" only use Classic controls and learn these inside and out. Those are the controls that will allow you to make anything. Learning curve is STEEP, Awesome video. Your design skills are really good. Tip though, if you use responsive 2-way scroll, the card option is just a bonus, but not really necessary. Everything else is fantastic.
