    i have created responsive powerapp, in my powerapp, i have left navigation menu section, header section and body section, when i published my app, and open it either in browser or in desktop version, left menu swaped with body container, means left nav shift left to right, and body container shift left to right, what will be the issue

    In the first video of this series you have dozens of people asking for the varAppColorMode variable help, which you don't cover in the video. Then in the comments you say that you'll cover it in the this video, and you don't. Why not provide the answer in your comment replies or update the video with an annotation, or a pinned comment? Very frustrating.

    Excellent video, brings powerapps to a brand new level. The only minor issue is having mainatian a seperate text version of the color as it's easy to forget to update it in both places. I was able to find this code that converts RGBA into HEX so the code at (18:20) in the video would change to "data:image/svg+xml;utf8, "& EncodeUrl( Substitute( ThisItem.MenuIcon, "currentColor", If( SideNavigation_Compact.SelectedMenuID = ThisItem.MenuID, Match(JSON(SideNavigation_Compact.SelectedIconColor, JSONFormat.IgnoreUnsupportedTypes),"#[a-fA-F0-9]{6}").FullMatch, Match(JSON(SideNavigation_Compact.BaseIconColor, JSONFormat.IgnoreUnsupportedTypes),"#[a-fA-F0-9]{6}").FullMatch ) ) )

    • @toluvictor
      @toluvictor 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks a lot. I actually found an easier way to go about this and showed it in one of my recent videos. Its somewhat similar to your solution but you don't need to use match, a simple substitute would suffice. Check it out here th-cam.com/video/0j0SePL60m0/w-d-xo.html

    Hello . It is mobile responsive?

    • @toluvictor
      @toluvictor 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      This one isnt but one can easily make it responsive. Use the grid layouts for smaller screens and the list layout for larger screen, then, instead of using toggles, control the switching using the screen's size

    I have watched you grow the quality of your TH-cam Videos. They are getting better and better 🔥. I am a Low Code and Pro Code Architect at MSFT. Your videos are what I share to customers when the need to learn how to do responsive design. Love the new playlist for this topic. I would recommend you also create a multi-step single Form UI video. i.e One data source that uses one form just broken into different information like Step1: Personal Information, Step 2 Vacation Details, Step 3: Cost, Step 4 Review and Submit. Makers would benefit from learning a better UI/UX with forms.
