Tbh, I don't think that these people are "lost", it's more a general thing, most people have a distorted view of themselves, they don't see themselves as in how and who they are in context to their surroundings/world/reality, they rather see themselves as in how they want to be seen and associated with. Every person does it on some level. As a black man, this is not even angering. It’s really sad when you think about it. As a species, we have convinced ourselves one is better than the other based on skin color, and hair texture. Race based on skin color is a social construct anyway. Phenotypically, there's different "groups" of people, but we're so mixed now that you can't use skin color to determine what group you are. And it really doesn't matter.

My question is, how can a species that are exactly the same on a biological level, other than slight differences in effects from man-made drugs, be considered different? Anyone that hates any racial or ethnic group, especially their own, usually checks off these boxes:
- they grew up in a place that wasn't racially or ethnically diverse
- they had very little and/or select REAL WORLD interactions with that particular group
- their opinion of said group is based on what was taught and shown to them from second hand sources (i.e. the internet, family members, friends of family members, etc.)
I will stand 10 toes down on this. Cross examine (in real life) anyone that disagrees, and I'm 99.99% sure you'll see that I'm still right.

I'm white and fairly conservative, The way I was raised was to respect my neighbors whatever color they are. To honor and cherish my wife because while you as the patriarch are the head of the head of the household, she as the matriarch is its backbone. You can find honor in those of any culture or shade, these people lack morals let alone honor. I guess what I'm trying to say is they aren't conservative or traditional and we don't claim them.
I have met a few conservatives who hold the same beliefs and are fine with people of other races. I am happy to know you are one of them.
