They've been alright. The worst were in Bullocks Harbor, Berry Islands. But it's just 30 minutes before and after sunset. And we always say, if you have insects, you anchored to close to shore.
Glad you agree about a hard top Bimini. What are your thoughts on the convenience of a roller main vs a full baton main sail that is horizontal? I assume your main has vertical batons.
I love the show Hot Ones. Sean Evans does a great job of asking interesting interview questions. With that in mind I had a TH-camr/Creator question. You mentioned a decline in subscribers after your park videos. As a creator how has that effected your process and what kind of personal impact does it make.
I appreciate you asking this 👍 because we had some serious thought and discussion about it. I know some folks claim they post videos for themselves, but we don't. We have a few videos we keep to ourselves, but we share these videos on TH-cam for others to enjoy! Whether it be for viewers to learn from, be inspired by, or simply to be entertained. So we want to create episodes that our audience actually enjoys. ...sorry for being long-winded there... 👉 But that just means we'll occasionally share these away-from-sailing videos to help keep our story authentic, but the bulk of our videos will continue to be sailing, family travel, and exploring the waters. 🎥🙌
A lovely video this time just oozing a healthy dose of nice relaxed 'smoothness'.
Your videos are something that I look forward to
🙌 glad to hear!
This was a fantastic video to watch
I've gotten hooked! Your sailing videos are the greatest. No BS, no fluff, just good. Thank again
That's cool to hear, we're glad to have you watching!
Thanks!
🍻🙌 thanks Gregory!!
Looked like a nice easy comfortable sail.
Yes, it was SO SMOOTH!
Another great video!
Great video... enjoyed the slow sail. Like the way you mix in narrations by the girls and I like the cut!
Thanks!
Great video. We are fans of slow sailing too, anchored in Five Pirates Bay, Great Harbour Cay, Berry Islands.
Slow and smooth!!
Spanish Mackerel- When I heard Olivia narrating I totally thought of Emma on SV Basik- hope those girls have been in touch with each other!
We haven't met SV Basik, but now we're looking them up. Thx!
That sailing looks amazing! So happy for you and your family!
Awe, thank you!
Yes, that's a Spanish mackerel. Was it good?
It was great! We had it pan seared and fried. Excellent both ways.
How has the insects been? I'm always surprised that some people don't have fine enough screens for No-See-Ums.

Our main has no battens, and we love the furling main. The safety and ease of reefing in a seastate is perfect.

I’m headed to Bahamas now on my Jeaneau in a couple of weeks!! How is the Starlink working in Bahamas?
Perfectly! *Fingers crossed service delivery doesn't change as more and more users hop on the satellites
Spanish Mackerel and my preferred catch over King Mackerel although Kings are bigger and put up a heck of a fight. Spanish make excellent fish tacos.
That's funny to hear cause we said the exact same thing!! We fried the second round of Mackeral for tacos and they were great.
Do you feel you’ve grown more mentally, physically or emotionally through your time sailing??
Definitely, in so many ways. The emotional and mental composure that the sea requires of us is something we didn't expect.
