What if *Elsa* and *Merida* were besties? They're both independent and don't have time for finding love. They're both strong in their way and they want to be free and to just let it go. But at the end of the movie, they realize that the love of their family is the most important thing in their life.

Though, to be honest I can see Merida being besties with Mulan, while Moana is besties with Ariel due to their love of the ocean.
And tbh I can see myself being besties with Belle or Merida.
I could see an adventure, feisty tempered, rebel alliance between Merida, Moana, Rapunzel and maybe Ariel as well. Snow White, Cinderella and Aurora would make up the gentler friend group. Elsa, Anna, Jasmine, Tiana, Belle and maybe Mulan would make up the middle friend group (tougher, but usually not quite as rebellious or explosively tempered).

Now, you can laugh at me if you want, BUT......I think Elsa would make good friends with SIMBA from the Lion King!! Simba and Elsa have so much in common AND in the past people have compared Frozen to the Lion King. The reasons why Elsa and Simba would get along is that:
1. Both of them are rulers of their kingdoms
2. Both of them have run away due to an accident/tragedy
3. Both of them sung a song about living their own lives in peace.
4. Both of them were led to believe that they are responsible for the deaths of their loved ones.
5. Both of them have their kingdoms restored.
I agree with Ariel and Belle, however, there's also,
Rapunzel and Anna, and Eugene and Kristoff.
I've always seen them as a double duo. There's a Disney theory that Eugene and Kristoff grew up in the same orphanage sharing stories and were best friends before they eventually parted ways to pursue their own adventures. I can see Rapunzel and Anna clicking and all four of them as a group. Maybe it's just me, but I see a lot in common with all of them.

i’ve always seen Elsa and Pocahontas and best friends. they’re both the next in line to lead a nation/tribe (Elsa actually gets crowned obvi) and that’s something that they and Moana could bond over. these two are strong willed, stubborn, big hearted, and do everything for the ones they care about, even though someone ends up getting hurt. also, neither end up with a love interest in the end as John Smith has to leave. that they have in common with others as well though. i would love a head cannon with these two, Jasmine and Megara as a friend group

I think Mulan, Merida, Moana, and Pocahontas could all be friends because they're the outdoorsy ones. They might get along with Belle, Tiana, Elsa, Rapunzel, and Jasmine, but not necessarily friends.
@@robinfa1477 I don't think Mulan and Merida would get along very well, since they have really different points of view and values. Mulan is the girl that wants to marry to please her family, Merida won't get married not even to please her family. Mulan would not possibly understand Merida's stubborness and her behavior with her mother, while Merida would not understand Mulan's decision of not being the Emperor's counselor. They would still admire and respect each other, but I don't think they could deepen their relationship without arguing a lot.
@@samahyalmudena5625 I don't know. I mean, Mulan actually is kind of stubborn and didn't actually want to get married, but was willing to do it for her parents. After the events of the first movie though, I think Mulan has found more confidence and won't be getting pushed around anymore (I think a lot of it she did out of guilt). Similarly, Merida has learned to give more in her relationship with her mother. While they start from being too self-sacrificing (although I think Mulan felt like she's selfish for wanting more than her parents wanted for her even though she's not) and too selfish (Merida might not consider she was selfish) they both end up having a healthier outlook at the end of the movie.

I’ve always thought Mulan and Merida, there both brave and strong women and don’t mind an adventure.
And Ariel and Moana. They both have a reputation with the ocean and sea and are both daring. (Ariel is daring bc after all she’s heard of humans she’s not afraid to approach the princes boat)
My princess BFF would probably be me and Belle bc we both LOVE reading adventurous books. Or me and Merida, we both share an interest with exploring and archery (well I never learned archery but I want to, so she could teach me!)

I personally could see a 5-way "rebel alliance" friendship between Merida, Moana, Ariel, Rapunzel and possibly Mulan as well. They don't really like to follow rules, are the hotter-tempered princesses (Rapunzel gets REALLY mad at times in the series) and are extremely adventurous. I'm not sure if Jasmine would be in the "rebel" group or the "kind but strong" group (which probably includes Belle, Tiana, Elsa, Anna and possibly Pocahantas). The "gentle and peaceful" group would be Snow White, Cinderella and Aurora.
I think Aurora and Snow White should be friends because they both love animals and they were both put under a sleeping curse
Idk, something about these options are too obvious, like a good thing about friendships sometimes is being different and sharing the uniqueness of eachother. They need to share a base trait but I feel like they should be more expansive then they are both caring and adventurous, like that's pretty basic. Like Pocahontas and Moana, I image Moana always goes for her for advise on to how to help her people. And she is someone she can look up to, a left and right brain complex while still having the same base traits yknow? Leadership and Herioism, they were willing to give up their lives for their people, moana couldve died so many times on her journey however she triumphed, and Pocahontas literally gave her life for the better of the earth. Idk I feel like I want a life lesson out of their friendship, more of a story of what brought them close, not, oh they both like animals, like people who like Harry Potter dont instantly like eachother, some hufflepuffs hate slytherin. But Mulan has the internal value of protecting her family and bringing them honor, whereas Merida would struggle against that with her string autonomy, no matter what affect that has on her family.

I love this video. If I was to become BFFs with one of these princesses, it would definitely be Rapunzel because we're both dreamers and we both love animals. Through ancestry, I'm technically a princess myself despite having to live a peasant type of life in the modern world. In my birth family as an O'Keefe, my Irish ancestors were royalty in Munster, Ireland and in my adoptive family as a Blais my ancestors were royalty in France.

The one thing I've noticed in all of the princess bff pairings is that really you can justify a variety of different pairings for a variety of different reasons and the only thing that really stays consistent is who probably wouldn't be friends 😂
