As a writer / co-producer (with my company Forest Rose Productions LLC), meeting and working with Tony Baxter was an incredible experience. Tony is a walking encyclopedia re. everything "behind the scenes" with the Walt Disney Company and its evolution. Tony's passion prompted him (as a young man) to seek out education and instruction that covered a variety of artful processes that molded him into the consummate Imagineer.

I've heard Tony tell this story many times, but this has many delicious details I've never heard before. Especially the Dagoba load platform for the proposed coaster. Also, I hope we get to hear Breck Eisner's recollection of that famed Saturday at WED. I was in my mid-twenties when Star Tours first opened and I'll never forget how cutting edge and well produced the attraction was. It was a real "outside of the box" idea. No one came close to producing a better simulator.
